@@FireSeraph007 That's dumb. Whoever decided that was being dumb. In a Platinum Game, the last thing I want is a self-insert. Plus, there are WAY too many self-inserts in games nowadays. Like, Three Houses, Pokemon, Dragon Quest XI, Zelda. There are plenty of self-insert protagonists, and ALL of the games I mentioned do it MUCH better than this game does. It just doesn't work in this game. It would be SO much better for the character you play as to have their own character, so we can see them actually interact with the shitty whiny twin.

Like during your investigations you use the Iris to collect and display keywords they could have had something like that instead of total silence. Also, there could have been a throwaway line like "Player character's vocal cords were damaged when they were young, that's why they don't talk much."

@@Roymoney1998 Silent protagonists _can_ be pulled off IMO, provided the story and writing treats actually them as "they genuinely cannot speak and this is taken into account with the story", rather than "this character 'speaks' but you don't see/hear it because you're supposed to make it up, and therefore is not supposed to be mute in-universe". Like, treat them like a _person,_ rather than simply just a vessel for the player to puppeteer around.

"Why was Jena trying to kill the Twins if that would cause the fusion" She knew about Yosephs plan to WINRAR everyone, not the method for Regular Legion fusion. If she knew that, then Yoseph would have already known it and completed his plan ages ago. "Yoseph then dies because reasons" Yeah it's not like Akira because intangible because of the fusion in the same way as Yoseph did. Its just Image Layering Akira and Yoseph were on the Same Layer. "Jena has no reason to trap Police officers in the mall" I'm sure Killing all the remaining members of neuron that had experience with legions enough to see Chimeras Permanently would never be beneficial to her Plans after getting rid of the Leigion production. "They immediately forget that Chimeras aren't Visible to people without legions" It's pretty clear that Neuron has methods to get around Chimera cloaking, as they clearly see it when making the sword Legion. Plus IRIS is also a thing that only the Neuron has which can see redmatter that regular people can't fully see. IRIS or special lenses are also why HAL can see Chimeras "They don't even call out the ethics of enslaving them" They ain't people, and they're killing everyone- Fuck em. "Why didn't Yoseph make clones of the Stronger twin" Despite all the touting of Eva comparison, is didn't occur to you that the clones began production after Akira was stabbed and put in the very obviously Rei clone tube, giving Yoseph the excuse to test on one of the twins while having the other collect legions. "Jenas plan was to stop Yoseph by killing him but also involved Unleashing monsters on innocent civilians which served no purpose other than making her look worse" No, The Homonculi were made to increase the Redshift and corruption of the astral plane so that it would "Archive" the rest of humanity as human beings instead of the Collective conciseness Legion that Yoseph was going to make. Killing everyone was just par for the course of Jena's plan. Jena gave up on the current humanity, Yoseph wanted to evolve and the twins want to slowly improve the status quo. Also yes I know Satire and all that jazz, doesn't make my point less valid. I'm surprised you didn't mention how, as soon as Jena transformed and became able to fly, instead of taking the 2 seconds it would have been to kill the MC and go after Yoseph, she left you alive for actually no reason. There's also how Yoseph introduces the ARK as though he didn't build the thing himself "to this island we call the Ark" No you you called it that when you were told to build an ark.

The fact that Akira dies but then is brought back via one of his own clones is not as creepy as it is depressing. It would also feel odd because it would feel like you are not talking to the same person except you are, if you talked to the clone that took his place.

Regarding radio being jammed and the drone still working; jamming only works by sending excessive signals on certain frequencies. You'd have to jam every single long range frequency to affect the drone (though the idea that the drone was operating on a non-standard frequency is... unlikely at best).

Its likely Max was told he needs spare Legatus for the new recruits. Just not told who they were and seemingly for good reason. He's an over protective 'martyrDAD'. The Beast Legion CAN track specific scents but they are still police officers. It's called covering your bases. There's absolutely no reason for them all to be huddled up together even if they had a "sure fire" method of track chimeras with Murphy's law and all that. The worst thing about that situation is they sent two rookies with limited experience in Neuron together instead of partnering up with a senior officer. The Astral plane does have enough oxygen in it. All of the matter there is just broken down material from Earth. It'd make sense that over time there'd be enough breathable air. Hal never confirms he can see chimeras. He knows of their existence. Also Chimeras have that weird hollywood version of invisibility (cloaking aura). You can probably see traces or an outline. Even in your investigations people are able to describe 'something' that they can't quite see but know is around. Akira can't fuse with a Legion he doesn't have : / (at the time he was stabbed by Jena) Jena doesn't want you just learn to truth. She wanted you to seek it out. How would she know - trusting you - that you would give it to the right people instead of just handing it over to Yoseph. Yoseph likely was just really really interested in what you could do on your own. Though it was obvious he could just clone you as the stronger twin he had never seen or conceived that a Legionis could control multiple Legions. Additionally he saw from the get go you were able to achieve a sync rate that high. If any Akira just presented an opportunity to put the experiments in action. In other words he was the control. You were the test.

This game was great. I picked it up and expected to enjoy it based off of the trailers and I liked the studio. After the first mission, I was liking it but not particularly impressed and was afraid of being let down. But after a few more missions, I was in. The ball was really rolling at this point and I was having a blast with this game. It only got better from there. Once I was able to merge with my legion, I hit another high with this game. That high was only slightly dampened when I reached what I expected to be the final boss which was the “heart” of the giant Ark Chimera. I still had fun but was let down by this lackluster final boss. But then when Prime showed up and proceeded to kick my ass all across the battlefield, that was the moment I fell in love with this game and totally forgot my original plan of giving it one play through and trading it in for something better. This game is awesome. I’ll be going to this and kicking ass for a long time.

I want to say that knowing this game has a silent protagonist has actually deterred me from playing it specifically because I hate the silent protagonist trope (I am okay with doom guy being silent though) but I think it's actually disgraceful of platinum games to make a game with a silent protagonist specifically because platinum games is known for making characters with personality to them and now it seems like they are failing at that by giving us a silent protagonist and it's really unfair that the character that is chosen as the protagonist is silent but the one who isn't chosen is able to speak that is so unfair and genuinely makes it seem like platinum games for some reason has developed a recent hatred towards their protagonist being able to speak
