Jeff is in the game, but what about his wife and daughter? They are technically Eastwoods as well (which is to note that the entity is obsessed with the Eastwoods and knows who they are); MatPat has mentioned earlier that Isabella has no memory of killing Jeff and that there's no blood on her, meaning someone else did it, and for some reason, we only get one mention of Jeff's wife and daughter once before the rest becomes about Jeff and Isabella. They are likely to be in the game as well, we just haven't got any confirmed character avatars for them yet.

The whole "entity following Isabella and killing her family" thing, reminds me a lot of paranormal activity. This demon was sold the soul of the first born son in the family, and the first three movies are the base of this story, this demon latching onto one of the two sisters, and becomes possessed and steals the other sisters son, killing almost everybody in the family in the process. It's truly terrifying and hugely lore based. Recommend you watch, guys:)

The one thing I find interesting in Sammy's materialization scene is how the characters react. Sammy/Jeff looks visibly shaken, which is probably fair if you just got shoved into a video game. What I find interesting is that Bailey is there and reacts to said materialization. She looks over as Sammy pops in out of thin air. I think that Bailey got sucked in before Jeff because of this. Most non-possessed video game NPCs don't bat an eye if a glitch is causing broken textures or whatever to just spawn in.

"She is mine to control" Isabella is the only one present when her brother goes overboard, she's there when her father kills Arthur, and presumably is in the house when the fire was started. Sounds like the blob bas full control of her, at least at times. Do we actually see Thomas kill Arthur? Or do we hear that from someone else?

We do actually see Thomas kill Arthur, it happens when you lose to Peter pumpkin. He accuses Arthur of starting the house fire, and kills him with an axe before asking himself what he's done

Upon further reflection, I think Isabella is a HOST to the blob™, but not under it's control. Kind of like a parasite, like a leech or a flea. Yes, some parasitic species can control their hosts ( zombie fungi and ants for instance), but most just sorta hang around. I'm assuming the blob latched on to Isabella. It can't move on it's own, it moves with Isabella, but it can't control her or force her to kill anything. We see Thomas kill Arthur, because that's what the blob wanted, but Isabella was still there. She was a witness. She was where the fire was, she escaped it (though it's implied Thomas started the fire). She was on the boat, she pushed off Louis (considering Louis says he "doesn't blame her", I'm assuming she thought Louis was the blob?). She moved in with uncle Jeffery before he died, even though we don't know who killed him. She isn't necessarily killing them herself, and she definitely didn't kill Arthur, but death follows her wherever she goes because the blob follows her too

One thing that still confuses me, how is melody in chapter one of Andy’s apple farm if she’s not dead yet? I have one idea that may work, what if in Andy’s apple farm, the game is the last one in the series. Maybe not the game itself, but you the player playing the game. It still doesn’t make a lot of sense because Andy is the father, but I still don’t get timeline wise how Isabel is in the game, and if it’s not Isabel, then who is it?

I definitely think the family souls were put into the game after the normal game made by Eastwood was completed and the evil force put you in after the fact. The game was made in 1983 but Isabelle soul could've been put into the game following 1986. The 1983 is likely when Eastwood made the game not when the evil corrupted it.

Theory: It wasn’t Jeffery Eastwood who made Rabbit Knight, but Isabella before her death as a cry for help, it could be debated but I believe it’s implied Jeff died before rabbit knight released. Isabella knew she was next, so she rushed made Rabbit knight as a cry for help, but the Entity caught on, killing her or convincing her to release the game before it was finished, then killed her (the Entity releasing the game in the first possibility) both ending up as Isabella becoming Melody the moon. It’s called Sky: Children of the light and with the new season of shattering I think it deserves a lore check! The season is not yet finished but it would be worth it! In the same note from earlier, we saw isabella’s aunt, Susan. There is a high chance that she also ends up in the game, (as Melody) and Isabella’s story goes much further.

Cool, an Andy's Apple Farm theory, just played the game with my cousin yesterday so it's perfect timing for me. And at those bits with the humans we thought "This can't be a glitch, why would a game have parts that don't have anything to do with the plot, the dev must have made it a deleted scene or something". I absolutely love listening to MatPat going on and on in these videos, because every video is always so interesting, however, I hate watching to the end and having to hear him say, "But hey, that's just a theory. A game theory!" because everytime I watch one of his videos, I get so into the video that I forget it's just a theory.

Dude, I haven't played any games period. Well, except for Minecraft, Lego games, Star Wars Battlefront, Sonic 06, Wii sports, Kinect Sports, Marvel superheroes on Wii, and Iron Man game, but that's a different story. Anyway, everything else I know about video games is from watchmojo, some KZbin clips when I feel like it, memories of seeing video game trailers, and of course, MatPat's videos. Feels fitting that he intrigues me with his videos just like that as they help sharpen my brain as well.

Imagine having an indie game with hidden lore which lets you piece together than these colorful and lovely characters have deep and complex relationship full of emotions, drama and eventually - resolution, parting ways as friends, able to come together now and then to have a little fun, just like the old times.
