@@randomhooman42 It was suggested that Peach could have gotten the crown mega early, since she's always wearing it. But it is a good point to consider. Also the idea that they don't reproduce or have genders the same way humans do... Peach having both mother and father is a little different then. But to be fair, toads and the kingdom rulers, etc, *are* different than simply a mushroom or a bee so they can be expected to operate differently, even if it's relatable.

Nice lesson about bees, MatPat... but you're ignoring all the evidences we have that Peach is, in fact, human: 1) The "Mushroom King" was an invention made by Nintendo of America for the SMB instruction booklet. He was never present in any Japanese material and that's the reason we don't see him in the games. That's also why his presence in supplemental guides and comics didn't last long. He never was canon. Same with the queen. Also, the fact that the King uses a Mushroom head in the picture of that guidebook is just a simple deviant drawing made by the author of the book. Since he was never invented, they didn't had a design to base him. For example, in the Nintendo Comic System series, there was another version of the Mushroom King, and he was clearly human. 2) The "Grandma" character from Super Mario RPG isn't really Peach's grandmother. She was simply a elderly maid in the Japanese version of the game. That's was Woolsey's fault. (the game's translator/localizer) 3) We've seem Baby Peach multiple times and she isn't a Toad. 4) Peachette has grey eyes because Toadette has them too. (look closely in some more recent artwork and you'll see it). Not because she's still an infant. She's clearly an adult. We've seem children Toads in RPGs, they're shorter. The grey simply indicate that she's Toadette. It's the same logic why enemies in Super Mario Odyssey have blue eyes when Mario possesses them. 5) Toads aren't genderless. All Koichi Hayashida said was "We never really went out of our way to decide on the sex of these characters, even though they have somewhat gendered appearances". He's just implying that when they created the character, way back in 1985, they didn't decided Toad's gender, but it's obvious that when the time passed, Toad was clearly a boy. Toads do have genders, just like humans. We've seem it in multiple games. He never stated that they are gendeless or that they took gendered roles as they wished. Gamespot misinterpreted this information (or made it on purpose to have a clickbait article) and this false statement spread like the plague all over the internet. 6) It seems only Toadette can get the Super Crown in the game. The other characters just get coins. That alone makes the theory senseless because there are no other Toadettes. We have other female Toads, but just ONE Toadette. Super Mario 64 DS was never re-acknowledged by Nintendo in other Mario games, witch means the original SM64 is the true version of that tale. Why would New Super Mario Bros. U DELUXE be the real version instead of the original Wii U game? Peachette was just a lame excuse to have a playable Peach while she's kidnapped. Nintendo never thinks about what "X" could bring to "Mario lore" because they simply don't care. People just like to over-analyze things, and while that can be fun, I'm pretty sure there will be people stupid enough to believe what was said in the video is canon and part of the official Mario lore. It always happens. People can't understand that Game THEORY is just a theory, and that it has flaws too.

Ok so the first part of the intro, we are greeted by text of different colours which are green, blue, orange, purple and back to green with each of their texts stating: Green: Hello Internet. Blue: Are you ready to take the first step? Orange: Good. Purple: Great (however, the colour reverts back to green) Green: So are we. Then in the second part, we are introduced to some sort of code containing symbols, additionally, some people have came to a conclusion that there is some sort of morse code and/or spectrograph hidden behind the scene. So from the information that we've got so far, I personally think that this is quite similar to the Darkiplier concept. This may seem like a farfetched thing to say but think about it, we've got multiple texts suggesting that we have a group of people but the one thing that strongly backs this point is how purple's text reverts fades to green, further suggesting that purple and green must have some sort of connection with one and other. If we can work out what the second part means, we receive a lot more information and create even more connections regarding what's going on here. Let's do this guys! Update of information at the moment: So far, we have received a tonne of information regarding the code and also the sped up version of the game theory video. So the code was cracked by a Twitter user (I would prefer to ask the user before placing their name in the comment) to which the code states 'Find the search, read the notes, fear rabbits that venture into holes, the gates shall summon you patience and know this, you are prepared. The other part is the intro as many were keen to notice that there were numbers in the intro and one person collected these which gave us 6a 75 6c 79 20 31 35 20 31 39 38 33 to which another translated this using hexadecimal which gave us the date July 15 1983.

This is very interesting, there is finally some depth in the lore of the Mario universe now, we are slowly seeing more of the worlds beings told. We finally get some backstory on characters, we are seeing new characters emerging, the universe of Mario is being explored and unveiled!! I love it! There needs to be more revealed to us, I personally would love to see a TV series or Game on the history of the Mario universe, showing us the origins of Mushroom Kingdom, bowsers kingdom and the government of other worlds, giving us more understanding of the way the worlds are like in the Mario games. I would love to also see a TV series or game about the future of Mario universe, showing us new characters, descendants of the beloved characters of mario, new kingdoms and Empires with newer tech, like tbh I'm picturing a sci fi type of deal, where we see each faction n kingdom use spacecraft and lasers n blasters while exploring more of the Mario Universe as it goes, like adding more lore and evolving the universe of Mario would be awesome!!

So Toadette + Super Crown = Grey-eyed Peach who later matures into Blue-eyed Peach. That leaves two questions: 1)What about baby Peach who has blue eyes? 2)The super crown that Toadette puts on looks nothing like the crown Peach has. Therefore, since it's unlikely that the crown changes its look over time, that means at some point, Peachette would have to take off the super crown and put on the queen crown. However, wouldn't taking off the crown revert Peachette back into Toadette? I NEED ANSWERS MATPAT

Retrovirus09 The mushroom aspect of the crown would gradually be absorbed into the being of princess toadette (Toadstool...) as she grew. Just like how some fungi break down and absorb their surroundings. Baby Peach is just a knot of mushroom nastiness that grows off the toadstool princess a certain time every month. They just dress it up and throw it into the Mario Kart death races.
