It’s now 2024, Game Theory has become more than what anyone in the world could have thought. Having 4 more wildly successful channels. The world felt the pain but overall showered him with love and an acceptance of his departure to be in the background, a father, and our favorite overthinking nerd in peace. What a ride it’s been. My theory is that Rosalina is 400+ years old. In the beginning of Super Mario Galaxy, they explain that a comet passes by every 100 years, that comet is of course the observatory, and it would have been about 100 years to see it, 200 to realize that it came back, 300 to start celebrating it, and 400, to be able to say you celebrate it every 100 years.

Here's a theory: Peach and Rosalina are sisters, with Rosalina as the elder, which is why they look so similar. Remember how Peach didn't have any earrings when she was a kid? Those earrings are her mothers, and she inherited them when her mother died. As for why Rosalina isn't living with them? From a 3d modelling standpoint unattached ear lobes will cost a lot more polygons and make the character higher poly which could be a problem for the game so it may have been a choice to make it as low poly as possible so the ears are attached

My theory is that Rosalina is actually Peach's sister. Since Rosalina's mother doesn't look like any character we have seen before, maybe she's the queen of the mushroom kingdom? That could explain why Rosalina used to live in Peach's Castle, it must have belonged to the queen before Peach was old enough to rule.

I think Peach isn't her mother, but rather her sister. Rosalina is the older sister. That's their mother that is dead at the top of the hill, and Rosalina went away when her mother died.

Hey @The Game Theorists I have another theory involving this: what if Rosalina got so devastated by the death of her mother (peach) and ran away from home. She then discovered her time/space warping powers and retconned EVERYTHING that happened after her birth on accident. But since she had no idea how to use her powers, she accidentally made herself peach's biological sister/twin. So in your Mario timeline video all the characters have their memories of every event BEFORE she retconned her birth. So the other characters have no memories of her at all. So peach has no idea she had a daughter (pre-retcon) / sister (post-retcon.) but Rosalina still has crystal clear memory on her relation to peach as a daughter, hence the book. BUT, you may be thinking "how did she learn to use her powers?" Well, do you know that "great power star" in galaxy? Thats her source of power. So when she retconned her birth, the power star was intact fully. So it broke apart, forming the comet that dropped all the star pieces on the mushroom kingdom. Once it was rebuilt, Rosalina regained her powers and stopped time in the current universe, and then she created a new universe, where she practiced using her powers by creating galaxies. Once she was done practicing, she created her observatory base thingy in the middle of all these new galaxies. Once she created the base, she created the lumas. To keep her company. The lumas could jump between the two universes at will but they almost always stayed with Rosalina. Once she created the lumas, she resumed time in marios universe. Once the great power star broke again, the two universes became unstable and they combined, so all the galaxies were in one universe. Mario galaxy continues and Rosalina eventually regains her power and seperates the two universes once again. She creates a THIRD universe and adds galaxies and the Mario head spaceship. She adds some lumas and leaves the universe to live in mario's universe. Then the Mario universe and the third one collide, triggering the events of Mario galaxy 2. When the black hole at the end of the game is plugged, Mario is sent to his own universe and the other two are destroyed. She then swore to never use her powers and to live a peaceful life with her "friend" peach (remember that they are sisters!) I hope you guys read this! Edit: WOW!!! 96 likes?! Thank you so much!
