Well, that and the fact that the bug had a speaker and a receiver on it. Like they wired up a transistor radio to be a listening device. So a 7-shot Model 36 isn't completely out of the realm of TV magic!

@@bigdaddy7119 They used multiple (3 or 4, if memory serves) Dusters during the show's run, so you are right. The car was always mentioned as a Dodge on the script, to the point of Al telling Peg "I don't want a Plymouth, Peg, I want my Dodge, dagnabbit!" in one episode.

Born in '78. The 80s were my childhood. As with MV I have very vague memories of the show first run, but wasn't really allowed to watch it as it was too violent for a 8 year old.I really got into it later in the 90s as teenager.

Give or take the subject matter, you got to love the production qualities of this show. It's like a John Carpenter movie, any good show needs to be carpeted and wall papered with moody ambient music through transition scenes. Give or take the subject matter, whoever made this show knew what they were doing!

This was a great episode. Until that scene you didn´t know on whose side he was on the whole time. Pretty intence Ed was just great in playing a cop who was losing it!
