Any emotion the first half of this scene had was completely ruined by the constant, incredibly annoying screaming of Amanda Waller. And I find it absolutely absurd that all of these DC powerhouses are being destroyed but four doofs in the suicide squade keep surviving. But I think the worst thing I've noticed about the writing in this game, from the half dozen cutscenes I've watched, is the tone. What is it? Serious? Sad? Funny? Edgy? It's so all over the place it's like the game was written by a couple of high schoolers overdosing on trying to be cool. There's a serious fight going on between WW and Superman, and our four dotards are making jokes or just standing there, making shocked pikachu faces. Or they murder batman and immediately act silly. Yet the music and some characters are serious and sincere. This game doesn't know what it wants to be, and because of that it's a mess. And I haven't even dared to watch gameplay after hearing about it.

The devs made a huge deal about killing the Justice League, but it's ironic the only one who wasn't turned was DC's current pet since the whole Dark Multiverse event. Superman canonically gets brought to his knees by around 6 grams of kryptonite just being held in front of him but in this game he pretty much isnt affected at all by at least 7lbs of it on WW shield but also flies away after a 3lb shard is driven into his chest. Story wise, the game is great. Task force X all play great and unique. They never feel like the same character. It's just a shame everything else in the game is shit. This game should have never been set in the Arkham verse. It should have always been a stand alone game set in a new universe. Rocksteady fucked up big with this game. It’ll never make sense… why doesn’t Wonder Woman use her gauntlet smash to blast away Superman. Why didnt Diana use her gauntlets to protect herself. No matter how strong brainiac made Superman it still shouldn’t be able to go through her gauntlets shes a damn god. We all saw the kryptonite do some kind of damage how is he still able to use his heat vision even more intensely. DC always makes Superman have some sort of excuse to beat WW when we all know damn well Batman has no kind of plan to take down WW but Superman is very easy to beat with his weaknesses.
