I always loved how Conner's hidden blade could be ejected and used as an actual dagger. It's so cool how each protagonist got their own blade brace that was somehow unique to everyone.

@@chicknchauncy8257 this is incorrect, in some artwork for AC 3 it shows how connors hidden blade works and it shows his hidden blade can be ejected like a dagger, as well if you pay close attention to some of his animations when entering combat and have the hidden blades equiped you can see the blade pop out then turn a full 90° so he did not have a dagger before talking to Achilles, or atleast not one he fought with.

This is exactly what all combat in every assassins creed game should be like. Dont get me wrong i love the last 3 games, but i really do miss this style of combat, being able to take out whole patrols, clear ship decks etc.

Yeah, i miss that. That's an upgrade since AC2 and Brotherhood. Those were brutal and fast. But AC3, AC4 and others have are more-badass animations. Hella good, but i dont feel any damage dealt by Connor.

What I love about Connor is every hit he deals in his finishers you can feel his rage. You can tell each hit is for his people and his family that he lost. Ezio and Altair fight with pure skill and focus, but Connor factors in rage and skill. Every punch, tomahawk chop and club swing you feel the force of how hard it hits enemies. Even some of his moves are sloppy, such as the tomahawk tackle and the dropkick, which hit like a truck but aren't graceful like an assassin

God, he's so brutal. I love it. Really creates a nice contrast between how he fights and how he is as a person. When he's on mission, he's incredibly ruthless and stoic, but when he's around friends, you couldn't find a kinder, more understanding and caring man. Also, the animations may be less graphic than those in Valhalla, but Connor is right up there with Eivor in terms of most brutal assassin's creed MCs.

Connor Kenway is definitely my number one favorite Assassin. I know every one's like Ezio was the best. Abd don't get me wrong Ezio was badass too but Connor is definitely the one for me. His style in combat, his speed and ferocity is just incredible. Not only that but his overall character. Brutal in combat and hunting templars but also a kind person. Offering people who are struggling with surviving, making a living or shelter. Offering them to stay at the Davenport Homestead so they can feel safe. Warren and Prudence was the most heartwarming for me because Connor shows that everyone may be a different color, ethnicity or have a different accent but gives the message that we're all people.

I love the difference between Ezio and Connor’s respective fighting styles. What I’ve noticed is that a lot of Ezio’s finisher animations aren’t immediately lethal, either being extremely crippling or so painful that the opponent is guaranteed not to get up. However, he does it with such finesse and grace that it almost looks like a dance, taking away from the inherent cruelty of his actions. On the flip side, most of Connor’s finishers focus on doing as much lethal damage as possible, almost to the point of gratuity. It’s much more direct, utilizing strength moreso than finesse but still displaying just as much combat prowess.

I'm trying to remember more of Ezio's finishers, but the only one that comes to mind right now is borrowed from Altiar, and it's the sword stab through stomach that he then proceeds to rip upwards further into chest which is not what I'd call, merely "extremely crippling" And after watching a little of a compilation, yeah no it's still the same story. He's more graceful and less overly brutal for sure, but he's just as lethal

@@waldotheranger3987 i can’t really take this stance seriously when you’ve watched “a little” of a compilation as opposed to me spending hours pulling off these finishers in Brotherhood’s training sims… im not saying ezio himself is less lethal than connor, what i said is that a large portion of his FINISHERS aren’t immediately lethal-seemingly for the sake of cruelty. this is just… true. even the finisher you mentioned would leave an opponent choking on their blood for potentially minutes on end. i can only think of a few finishers where ezio ends a victim’s suffering quickly and deliberately. the numerous animations of him sweeping legs, running his sabre through groins and bashing someone’s guts in with war hammers are definitely not examples of such.

I still think Arno has my favorite fighting style of all the assassins. You get the impression that he's spent his entire life growing up learning to use a sword and that translates through his fluid and quick movements. He doesn't go for heavy battering strikes like Connor or Ezio to break through his enemy's defenses, he uses precise strikes to wear his opponent down before delivering the killing blow. His style is a lot more akin to like saber fencing and I really love how his moves have a unique flair to them while still feeling like moves a professional would make to end the fight as quickly as possible.

This is probably the best combat system in the entire AC franchise. Nice variety of weapons, amazing sound effects and incredibly clean, smooth and brutal animations. There are a lot of possibilities that make every fight a little unique. Some of my personal faves: 14:20 5:23 4:20 12:12

@@BiggDickman Yeah for sure, but I have seen that there's only 1 type of enemy in AC 3 and it make it repetitive, but in AC blackflag there more variety of enemies, like the buff ones, the captains, the fast ones etc

Nobody in the entire franchise can EVER match Connor in his brutality in combat. The dude's an absolute wrecking machine. Think about the wounds he inflicts with those attacks, even with just the tomahawk. Gnarly.

AC3 was the first AC I ever played and I am so glad I did. It is an amazing game and I would honestly do exactly this with guards. Connors brutality was what made him so awesome and fun to me!

I know Ezio's is almost everyone's favorite because he's charming, charismatic, etc., but Connor for me is just so distinct as an assassin. Stoic, driven, brutish, powerful yet calm and empathetic.

Ezio was the best assassin for HIS time, this is something fans rarely ever understand. His use of wits, charms, and charisma befits that of a nobleman and the elegance of a hired killer. While Connor is wild, primal, and no pun intended, savage even, his style of combat reflects the state of the colonies and the war that surrounds it, the stuff that got Ezio through in his days won't work the same way it did here. Proven by the fact Haytham is in a way the Englishman version of Ezio, but obviously had the savagery his son has.

Connor Kenway is the Optimus Prime of the Assassin's Creed games. Both have noble, pure, and kind hearts but in combat are absolute monsters with ferocious tenacity.

My favorite way to play Ac3 is fighting bare handed and fight hoards of enemies with just your fists or the hidden blade, it really adds to feel of the character being master of combat. disarming your foes and ending them with their own weapon while pulling off double counters is so satisfying.

4:17 this animation was what I wanted as a double counter on soldiers in ac4 and ac rogue. Sadly they replaced it with the animation that doesn't even align with the sounds. Damn you, ubisoft.

I never get tired of this satisfactory combat and counter attacks with so many styles and finishers which differs on weapons we use in ac3 i love it and i killed many armies standing alone with perfect combat many times and felt proud of myself seeing a mountain of dead that i killed❤️🫠🥺sadly this type of combat is the main element apart of parkour missing there in new ac games
