I'm really impressed with the 7th gen on how they pumped out games with sequels coming out in 2 years... wow. starting with the 8th gen we slowly get sequels longer than a console generation.. like gta 6 maybe launch ed with the ps6 instead. . that's the reason why ps4 users still holds on to last gen, there's little compelling titles to upgrade for. specially if these users also have a pc and they can play ps5 exclusives on pc instead.

PlayStation is sitting on so many great indie games. The drip feed good games out alongside a majority of lesser filler material. They need someone else running the show over at PlayStation.

Were you having a nap when Jim Ryan left? Herman Hulst hasn't had long enough to get his vision out. He's already cancelled a load of live service titles. It wouldn't surprise me if we start seeing a few astrobot size games dropping to fill the void they left in the next couple of years.

You've played 1 Ratchet you've played them all. The LEAST they could have done is give ratchet the ability to open rifts as an ability (not yet ANOTHER gun...) that he could use also to do damage in some interesting way maybe like Quan Chi. That game has very little depth.

I feel like people are kind of disingenuous with the way they talk about Playstation's output this generation. Especially comparing to Xbox's output & even the early days of PS4. Playstation has been releasing about 4 games per year (there's only 4 quarters in a year) consistently minus 1 year where the only had 2 games (2023). *2020 (launch titles)* •Astro Playroom (PS5 only) Yes is was short, like 4 hours. But so is Hellblade 2. can beat that in about 4 hours as well. •Demon's Souls (PS5 only) •Miles Morales •Sackboy *2021* •R&C: Rift (PS5 only) •Destruction Allstars (PS5 only) •Returnal (PS5 only) •MLB 21 If you would count COD, 2K, Madden, Fifa etc as releases for those publishers. You have to count MLB for Playstation. *2022* •Horizon: Forbidden West •GT7 •GOW: Rag •MLB 22 *2023* •Spidey 2 •MLB 23 (This was the only lite year) *2024* •Helldiver 2 (this is a Playstation owned IP, Always has been ! & Sackboy & LBP also owned by Playstation have all been being made by Sumo Digital even though Media Molecule is still a Playstation studio). •Astrobot •Concord (yeah it flopped but was still a release). •MLB 24 *2025* •Ghost of Yotei •Marathon •Fairgame$ •MLB We could also maybe see something like: •Venom ?🤷🏽‍♂️. Whereas Xbox didn't really have anything until the end of 2021 with Forza H5 & Halo Inf. 2022 they didn't have anything or maybe that was "Pentiment" only. & their 1st Current gen only game wasn't until Redfall in 2023. & PS4 wasn't putting out 4 AAA releases from the start. PS4 didn't start scaling up on 3 to 4 AAA releases per year until 2015 or 2016 I think. I think people are being a little bias against Playstation.
