Hey Mateo, thanks for this quick tutorial! I recently started doing speedruns in Mario Kart Wii with a gamecube controller, and one thing I just can't get is how quick pro speedrunners are able to get a speed boost after they start drifting. For me it seems to take twice as much time. Is there a trick to speed that up?

So what I do is the spin drift, You start a hop like a second before a turn hold down R then turn and all together you shouldn’t loose time on the hop on the turn but all drift and sometimes I flick the stick back and fourth but that might just be me. If your interested check out TWD98’s video on how to drive faster he gives an in depth way on how to drive like this
