This was brillliant! Very informative. Is it just a coincidence that the kitakana for ki is in the character?
@GameGengo10 ай бұрын
What do you mean by 'kitakana'?
@toradoraization10 ай бұрын
@@GameGengo Sorry. Had ki on the brain. I meant to write katakana. I just thought that it kinda looks like the 'ki' katakana is in the character, although beit not angled as it should. It could serve as a helpful reminder though

Where is the first 30 episodes of that series? Why is it #32?
@GameGengo10 ай бұрын
I started the kanji series with kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3Wag4yurZWortU and I am now finishing it off, the previous kanji will also be re-released in this more polished style after that, then I'll release a Complete N5 Kanji video

Great video! Just one little question: Is there a diference between 以来 and から?
@SonarHD10 ай бұрын
The best way I can explain this is to think of から as “Since or After (if used after a verb in the て form)” and 以来 as “Ever Since”. This is of course, assuming you’re using から as a time marker and not as a sentence connector (for lack of a better term). I’m sure you already know that the latter use of から is completely different from the one that is comprable to 以来. Here’s an example: 21歳以来日本語を勉強し始めました = I started studying Japanese ever since I was 21 yo. 21歳から日本語を勉強し始めました = I started studying Japanese since I was 21 yo. As you can see, they are similar yet slightly different. One major difference is that 以来 cannot be used for recent events (Something that was done today, for example). Anyway, that’s basically it AFAIK. Hopefully someone can add to this if I’m missing anything. HTH!

Just a suggestion: maybe don’t use Donald Duck in examples as he is nearly impossible to understand.

Haha from here on he's banned from the channel haha we thought it would be a cute example and also I added an extra example for pronunciation etc, but its very clear from everyones comments, No more Donald! 😅
