Your channel is seriously the one I hope blows up next for JP learning resources. I love that you give so many examples from different games as resources to learn. Absolute GOAT.

Just a stupid question but what is more commonly used or more correct ビデオ or 動画
@chococheese-y6e3 жыл бұрын
@@habibi_xd7022 As a native Japanese, I feel like 動画 is more commonly used to mention videos on KZbin. It could be just me but I usually use the word ビデオwhen I talk about VHS 😅 But I’m sure Japanese people can understand even somebody says ビデオ as 動画!

日本語学習者にとって、これは本当に良い教材ですね。実際の会話に使える文章でどう使われてるのか一目瞭然ですもんねぇ。 For Japanese learners, it’s really good learning vids. You can see clearly to understand how those words are used in the real practical conversations.

The general of an army's sentence felt weird, did you forget to put a noun there?

Thanks for the videos on N3 grammars, do you have any advices for remembering the vocabulary? Like N5, N4.. I have been playing Japanese games for a year and learn Japanese, the grammar part is easy, but the vocabulary is super hard. Nouns, verbs, adverbs... And different Kanji nouns pronounce differently too.

Gotta be Anki innit

My personal advice would be that, no matter what, its going to take time. Seeing the same word over and over for it to not only stick in your head, but also get a feel for how its used. You can achieve this by immersing and seeing it over and over until it eventually sticks - this method is for me personally the most enjoyable, but takes more time, need to play more! :) You can also achieve this by cutting out the context and just look at the language itself, and test yourself over and over (Anki) - This method is very efficient, but can for many people remove the fun/context. TLDR: If you want to get it in your head quickly: Anki If you want to enjoy yourself: Just keep doing what you're doing and it will stick eventually

Thanks for the advices. I might try both. Video games just do the immersing way, and I am also reading the 莊司島田 御手洗 潔 book. I will do some researches about Anki too. Thanks

@remonimodexd7116 I can read a lot, but can't recognize them from listening. Still not enough, too many words from games that I don't know.

2 years into Japanese. I listen to podcast everyday and read at least 30 minutes a day. These grammar lessons are great but, I still struggle to understand full sentences at native speed and in written format. My brain simply can't fully understand it. I can understand simple sentences but, full and compound sentences? I can't understand them. Any tips on how to fix this?
@GameGengo3 жыл бұрын
First thing, don't feel so bad for not understanding full sentences after 2 years of study! It took me quite a few years to even just get back the "It all sounds like gibberish mumbled together!!" phase. Listening was the hardest one for me to improve personally, and the thing that helped me was really really simple. More. Immerse more, watch more, listen more, hell even just going through the footage making these videos have helped me due to the sheer amount of Japanese I've immersed in just to get the footage and edit. The more exposure and attention you pay to the language, the more it will become clearer.

If you like games, I'd recommend playing games with a chatlog (like Triangle Strategy/Persona 4/5, etc) this will allow you to first listen to the audio, then replay it whenever you want. So you can listen, break it down, replay, try saying it yourself, and hell even replay again for good measure. I do that all the time :)

@@GameGengo Thanks! I just bought persona 4 golden on steam. I'm going to grab, Anki and a 辞書 and get to playing. I just cant wait until I understand everything the same way I do in English, you know? It's ambiguity that's been killing me. Like, " when will I finally be good!"
