Wow this was such a great video on this grammar topic. Miku’s explanation is simple, short, and concise. She explains exactly what you need to know and doesn’t drag the video for too long. She also provides a variety of different examples of phrases and words that are often commonly seen with this grammar pattern. It always helps to have someone explain the grammar point in English rather than learning directly from the textbook. Often textbook explanations leave nuances out and its hard to know the correct context it should be used in.

I’ve finally caught up with the latest grammar clip. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate these clips you are making. ❤ Throughout my time learning Japanese and living in Japan till now, I noticed a confusing phenomenon. The amazingly large amount of 外来語 in everyday use. Often even when there is an original Japanese word for that object (e.g. 靴下 & ソックス), people still refrain from using it. I can’t help but worry for the Japanese people should your language keep being diluted by Japanese-English.😅 I would love to hear your opinion on this aspect! Hope you could make a short clip about this! Thank you!

Excellent video. The Japanese subtitles are really useful. In my case, I try to practice the reading while you speak. I was wondering about the meaning of the following sentence: そんなことないし。In an anime, they use the ending -し instead of - よ。

You should change your avatar's drawing. Your eyes don't slant up. Also, in the western world, that is a negative stereotype of how Chinese look. In reality, every race have some people with eyes slanted up, not only Chinese (or Asians).
