I really need to see Crowd Control after its buff. Going from 14 at launch, to 20, then 60 should be pretty strong but nobody has used it. Yun Jin has bad perks but Twitter loves her "a normal amount" and she gets outfits at high rate. I guess she's not as rare as you're saying.

I like using it . Sadly you really only get value out of a chase or two . Once a survivor gets zoned because it if they hunt it down like it owes them money . Or call it out to their team mates . I like it way more than bamboozle .

Trickster main here. My favourite aspect of him has always been finding those sweet places where you can get a knife or two into a survivor not looking out for them. Even experienced survivors fall for them. For example, some versions of the shack have holes in the walls that can make it really unsafe if you go against a Trickster with good aim! It's such a shame they change Death Throes, tho: The accuracy challenge was quite fun, even if it was rarely as rewarding as you'd expect from an iri. Also: Holy shit that ad placement was smooth.

When I first saw trickster K-pop aside I was game. Huntress having good ranged damage and deathslinger having one really powerful shot led me to think trickster would follow up by having many shots for low damage that ideally would still reward being precise. Because of how his recoil works even if you train super hard and learn the arc of the throw or memorize the travel pattern between alternating hands none of it matters. The recoil after the first 2 knives is 50-50 chance to go up and left or up and right so even if you become a god with trickster you’re going to average around half of your knives actually going where you wanted them to. Like if you’re going to shoot with your throws spaced out to counteract this then you may as well just play huntress.

As a console player the best way to play trickster is injure a survivor will knives then down them with the bat. They don't get a speed boost from knives so it's easier to catch up, also throw knives when a survivor drops a pallet since they'll be stuck in the animation.

You clearly weren't playing Trickster much when Hawkins was still here, so: that was how to train him. Hawkins and Gideon's are how to train the 'holy trinity' addons, because trust me: those bounces aren't random, and what you need to know is that neither is Trickster's sway or spread. A gentle leviathan pattern means you can completely control where the blades go, including the bounces.

I still think it'd be cool if his power was more about the main part of his lore where he's a musician making beats from people's death screams, not the small detail that he's good at throwing knives. Maybe something like when he hits a survivor they scream and he records it so he can either drop it to fake the injured grunts of a survivor, or collect 4 unique recordings to make a song that you drop and it mimics your terror radius. You know, like a Trickster would, faking the survivors out and going semi stealthy

Initially played Trickster on PSN, to mitigate the lack of aiming control, I would just adjust my aim with left joystick. It didnt last long because i switched to PC because of the absolutely broken RE chapter that followed. Also I lost my mind at the Yun Jin audio.
