Nice to see the addition of some MS-DOS games. Would be kind of cool to see fanmade homebrew conversions of classic titles by Epic Mega Games!

Thank you for the comment. In September there was a video of Electro Man in development -version, it was Epic Megagames' dos game. For me, the first thing that comes to mind from that company is Jazz Jackrabbit, which was really good. I hope it gets made for the Amiga. 🙂👍

Thank you for the comment. Yes, there were a lot of good games last month too. Pengo500 seemed really difficult at first, but a really good game when you learn to play and Rogue Declan Zero is a really good game as well as Boxx.

@@retrogamingdino Yes i remember Pengo from the Arcades ! Great Gameplay and pure joy of sounds and colours,pretty much Arcade perfect conversion.Rogue Declan Zero and Boxx look interesting,the first one is one of the games i would get lost in,some years ago,dont know about today though.

The Rastan and Castlevania games look awesome. Dark forces looks good but I assume itll need at least an 030 to look like that (turns out it needs an 040... dangit. I knew I was low balling it, lol).

This is amazing u could make this game with Amigas old technology. If this was released when the Amiga was still no.1 u could have made millions.

Thanks for the comment, I've been thinking the same thing. I would have enjoyed playing these games back then in the Amiga's golden age. For example, this Boxx series is a huge achievement, the new September video is the fourth and last part of a really good series. 👍

It’s kind of sad that while the C64 gets dozens of new original games every year, the Amiga gets all these pointless ports (come on! We can play them easily with emulation, it’s not like playing “unofficial” ports is any legally different from downloading ROMs). Same thing happens with the MD, the NES gets games that are later ported to current gen, while the MD gets... unlicensed sprite rip Final Fight and SOTN.

It's far easier to make games on the C64, when going to 16bit platforms like the Amiga, the complexity can go up a lot in what you can do with games, which basically means the time and effort needed to make a good game goes through the roof. My point is, on the C64, a single person could make a good game on it and even though that can be the case on the Amiga, it usually requires small teams to make good use of the hardware and it would be a lot worse if talking 32bit hardware and for many, if they are going to put so much effort into a game, they are likely better off making the game on the PC where there's a much bigger market.

No modo normal, os Amigas mais antigos podem exibir 32 cores simultaneamente, enquanto os AGA-Amigas mais recentes podem exibir 256 cores simultaneamente na tela.

does the pengo dev know there's already an amiga pengo better than the 8 bit versions?

Thanks for the comment, they probably knew what had already been done and what hadn't yet. This is the only arcade conversion from Pengo to the Amiga, and a really good one. It's worth trying to play 👍🙂
