For me every song he conveys is like a new sparkling gem that I can put into my heart...all that gems makes my heart bright and shiny...so I 'am glinstering all day long! 😂 He is a very special young man, humble and respectful. Dimash won this episode with this incredible performance. He pulled out all stops after placing 5th in the previous episode with his cover of the Bruno Mars song Uptown Funk. His suit, in the colour of the Kazakhstan flag, was worn to bring him luck. FYI Dimash also won two other episodes of The Singer with SOS and Opera 2 and came runner up in the competition. Other high placed performances were Autumn Strong, Daybreak (I know you’ve reacted to this), Unforgettable Day, Confessa and Diva Dance, Daididau (his introduction of a Kazakh song to a wider audience was always one of his goals) - all amazing. 🙏🏻🇦🇺

I have loved all the comments you have made so far in all your Dimash reactions. Although you are obviously a good man to apologize, I feel really bad that you felt you had to. TRUE DIMASH FANS, "DEARS", understand it takes time to learn about his immense talent & that people are stunned by him. The "h" is silent..loved your daybreak reaction...pay no attention to negativity about it..I have found that when i listen to a DIMASH song for the first time the lyrics completely escape me because I'm completely absorbed by his vocals it's only on the second or third time's I really pay attention to the lyrics. Your excitement and enthusiasm were completely evident and you totally got why I suggested it. as you pointed out it is already an emotional performance and delivery and so when you add the lyrics it truly does become something quite heartbreaking. Wally, you had no way of knowing the backstory and have said from the beginning that you don’t research ahead of time. Plus with a first reaction, especially with Daybreak, the performance itself is so captivating that reading the lyrics at the same time is really impossible. I believe Steve Vai agrees with you. Steve has 1.1M instagram followers, but he only follows 113 people...and one of the 113 people he follows is Dimash. They started following each other a few months before Dimash moved to Los Angeles for work, where Steve Vai also lives. Often we don't learn why Dimash follows certain people until a year or two, even three years later. I'm waiting for the answer to this one, because it could be epic. P.S. - I subscribed to you today when I heard you say that a few Dimash "fans" came for you. It seems that music professionals either feel threatened by Dimash or find him irresistible. Unlike Lionel Richie and Vitas, Lara loved him and went on not only to sing with him but also to write Your Love for him with Igor Krutoy. I've watched a couple of things by renowned artists in the western music world recently regarding Dimash and their attitudes towards him have been very gratifying. One placing him as the top voice in the world and the other stating that he felt humbled by his voice.

The week before in this competition, Dimash sang Uptown Funk, which although the audience had lots of fun with Dimash, it didn’t get good marks at all, so Dimash needed to pull out all the stops for this week. He even wore a suit the colour of the Kazakh flag.😂he stayed in the comp till the end. Though he didn’t win over all, he probably got more international fame than anyone else there.

Yes! I enjoyed your reaction and all the nice things you said about Dimash! This is one of his most passionate performances I think! I may have already recommended these to you, but if so I will just do it again! Some of Dimash's songs that I consider to be "must sees" are: "Qairan Elim" (Kazakh), "Samaltau" (Kazakh. This is one where a bit of the back story will be good to have. I recommend either the Digital Show version or the Tokyo Jazz Festival version), "Ikanaide" (Japanese). Then for fun watch "Be With Me" the official MV. His MV for "Screaming" is also neat because he plays all the instruments and does all the singing but then you really must also see the Idol Hits version which is live! "War and Peace" (Chinese) is quite heart-felt and the MV for "Okay" is interesting. Once you have seen a bunch of these then tackle his masterpiece, "The Story of One Sky" which is about the need for peace. To summarize: "Quairan Elim", "Samaltau" (check back story), "Ikanaide", "Be With Me" MV, "Screaming" MV and Idol Hits, "War and Peace", "Okay" and finally "The Story of One Sky". After this there are only about 100 more!🤣

i forgot one thing, each time he goes to a hotel he will go to the pool to swing, he likes to make his lungs and diafragma strong and the lungs he do breathing exercises while swimming. This guy breathe music, he eats and drink music, he is always singing, in one video of the chinese show the participants where all backstage. Everyone was sitter but him,he could not stop walking in circles and singing ( he was exercising the lungs) while they were chatting away!

Adagio is an italian word, that means "Slowly". This is also used in music to define the pace of a music (a bit slow, between lento and andante) and also as a name of a piece of a sonate, concerto or symphony that is using that specific parce. The music from this song of Lara Fabian is a pop translation of an italian classic piece called "Albinoni's Adagio". It was written in 1958 by Remo Giazotto who was an admirer of Albinoni, a musician from the 17th/18th century. He claimed it was from him and give his music this name but there is consensus today that he most probably has composed it himself. The classic music piece is globally famous and there were many different translations into different songs, with different music composition and different lyrics (Daniele Licari, Sarah Brightman and Sissel Kyrkjebo for instance). But the most famous version, by far, is Lara’s version: it was translated into a pop song for her, she wrote lyrics in english and italian for it and is the original performer of this new version. She kept the title Adagio and wrote a story with a double meaning: a woman that is awaiting to find her love / an artist that is awaiting the god of inspiration. This song has become a classic and has been covered by many : Shirley Bassey (!!), Dimash (Lara is his absolute idol and he covered several of her songs), Floor Jansen, Polina Gagarina, Julie Anne San Jose, Giulia Falcone, Laura Bretan, Il Divo, Rimar, Vitas, Anastasia Luna, Evgenia Fanfara, , … They made great covers but none of these match the amazing storytelling performance of Lara, or her ability to use vocal subtleties to be in sync with the music, exposed in her live from the concert From Lara with Love. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKLShGCBhLGJlZY Her italian version is also amazing.
