I remember in my very first playthrough the original Mass Effect I ended up doing the Noveria and Feros missions completely before doing the mission to recruit Liara. Unknowingly, I stumbled into a scene where you first encounter her and she believes that Shepherd is a hallucination and not actually there to rescue her. Always thought that was an amusing attention to detail in the story telling.

Lords of the Fallen Umbral ending is a pain. A little misstep and you start the run from the start. But the boss was probably the most fun. It's always good to go for this ending last so you are fully leveled up and have used every resource possible to get there. And we all know how horrible NG+ is.

I knew about those cutscenes and more from the original RE4. I played it so often back on the Gamecube, that I started messing around, seeing what would happen if I did what. There's a lot of neat little things hidden inside that game. Kinda sad a lot of it never made it into the remake.

I did the Kifflom cult mission in GTA V and in the end, you can steal the cult's money (a lot of money), so completing the mission is worth it. Both for the story and for the money lost in paying donations to those scoundrels.

An old one I remember was for Bomberman 94/mega on the TG16/Sega Genesis, if you beat the last boss while keeping your Louie which is a bit difficult you get an extended cutscene where your Louie jumps off because the ship is too heavy, Bomberman then hops off trying to persuade the Louie to take the ship, followed by the Louie kicking Bomberman onto the ship and dying in the explosion.

I've always thought that Leon is less surpised to see Ada once they butt heads (or guns, as in this case) because he knew she was there, thanks to her saving him. That's probably the reason why they made it explicit in the remake. As for Louis, he thinks you're about to turn, that's why he promptly shoots you in return.

Has anyone else who plays the remastered Stanley Parable encountered the dev's diary area? It's not really a diary, but it's literally an entire thing about it being a soulless cash grab to make him recreate his game just to port it over to consoles. In order to do it, you have to just keep doing the wrong thing until he either creates The Stanley Parable "2" area (I think it was either after or before this) or tells you to do the opposite of what he says.

The Epsilon missions in GTA V are 100% worth it and doing it early is even better. It’s very tedious, yes, but in the last mission, if you drive away with the money and escape the Epsilon cultists and the cops, you get $2.1 MILLION. Add that to the first heist take, and then invest stock in Lester’s first assassination mission, and you’ll have well over $6,000,000 before you even reach the midgame
