The enchantment thing has been going on since at least Morrowind. I did this back then, and got stuck "flying", until I could get to a place where I could sleep for several in-game weeks. It's honestly the coolest elements of games when you can exploit systems like that, since it's completely unintuitive for most people to think to do that, then when you do it completely opens up whole new ways of playing the games. And Symphony of the night is essentially the defining masterpiece for all Metroidvania's, it's a near perfect game if you like that genre.

I remember making an armor piece in Skyrim that gave me 100000-ish health which I used for spelunking, since fall damage is not a percentage, it's a flat value based on distance dropped, and as it turns out, you only take something like 5000 damage from the highest drop in the game. Saved me a lot of exploration time. It also allowed me to swim in the lava which appears in some of the DLC areas. And yes I did find hidden items in the lava, suggesting that the developers had the exploit in mind for those items (unless the invincibility dragon shout gives you enough time if you know where you are going. I did not test that).

SOTN was one of the few games that I discovered a lot of the secrets myself because I would spend hours checking every pixel and experimenting with stuff because I realized early on how much hidden stuff there was. The hidden meat at the very beginning was a nice homage to games past. But that was the tip of the iceberg of secrets in that game. There was just something about that game that made me want to find all the secrets. Most games can’t hold me captive beyond 40-60 or so hours to complete it and find some hidden stuff. SOTN secrets were like crack for me😂.

Gears tactics and Mass Effect Andromeda could make the list. With gears I once made an extremely OP character who basically had their grenade every turn and it did crazy damage. Then with Mass Effect Andromeda, you can craft some crazy OP guns. My favorite was the N7 Valkyrie. Make it full auto, give it a recharge core instead of ammo, and convert it to a laser and it literally melted bosses.

I think the lucha libre outfit in tears of the Kingdom is more game-breaking than the zonai devices. When upgraded you get a 1.5 attack bonus for using bone weapons. This stacks with the 1.5 attack bonus from food. This is really good for the gibdo fuse item hen you use a bow That shoots multiple arrows. It's even better with the giant boomerang which Not only hits an enemy twice, thrown items do 1.5 * damage. The once you attach moldugas jaw. You have an extremely good early weapon, that's pretty easy to get.

A lot of great JRPGs let you power level your party into near godhood and Star Ocean 2 (second story R re release especially) is a fantastic example because of how the abilities in that game work. Tears is not only the best game on this list to break, but feels like it was tailor made to be broken in the best way possible. The only limiting factor is your creativity. Even puzzles can be broken, like the teetering ball ones. Rather than follow the path by wiggling the platform to follow the path, I turned the wife's controller upside down and turned the platform over, then rolled a ball over the back and flipped it into a target like pinball. Turned the infamous 20 minute puzzle into a 30 second solve.

You're forgetting the "sneak, quaff invisibility potion, pickpocket to put a paralyzing and poisonous health potion into someone's inventory, then quaff an invisibility potion" hack: You need to have the Poisoned perk. Next, create a Fortify Sneak potion/enchanted item with a ridiculously high sneak buff using the alchemy hack, a bunch of invisibility potions, then create potions with a small healing value, a high paralysis and a high poison value, then put it in a victem's pockets while sneaking. They will immediately drink the potion and be poisoned and paralyzed, meaning they can't detect you and are losing health rapidly, immediately drink another invisibility potion and repeat with the -victim- enemy. The Muffle spell, Muffled Movement and Silence perks, and light armor will make you even more undetectable.

In Dragon Age: Inquisition there was much hype about how OP you could make the Rogue’s in that game, but actually you could make a 2h warrior so OP it could rival any Rogue in damage output! With the right skills, weapon, armour, max strength, accessories, masterworks and of course choosing the Champion specialisation, you can create an unkillable Inquisitor. Even on Nightmare + Trials, you can break the game easily and become untouchable at level seven. With my build, the last time I took any damage was at level 1 on Nightmare + Trials and I’m now at level 23 and he still hasn’t taken any damage whatsoever. Wether BioWare intended it to be that way or not, it’s still pretty awesome to slay a high dragon in seconds!
