I think the Cyberpunk genre does cover jank but functional approach to technology like this. Technology is so prevalent and often discarded every aspiring techie can weld together junk to do whatever they want. I'll be honest, I was afraid this channel would lack Wade's chaotic energy but boy, was I wrong. Onya James, this is a thing of beauty

Ngl, this is very inspirational. I always try to make my weird projects as jank-free as possible, but seeing how well this works, I feel like I have permission now to cobble together some really trashy sh*t. Thank you.

Honestly love the rapid fire explanations of the floor bound bits. Most other tech channels would give the history of the RF adapter before getting to the portablization

I'm so used to engineering my way to do things nicely in my projects. It's really refreshing to see someone just bodge something together and see it work. I love the video man!

I came here from Wades channel and I do not regret it. I love stuff like this since I used to be a computer repair tech/tech recycler as my main profession before getting into the gaming industry. I used to get away with tearing down all kinds of old consoles and computers so this sort of stuff makes me super nostalgic.

Many things I've learned about James. He loves games, and he has probably the nicest collection of stuff.

Happy days that the madman finally has his own channel. I don't know if I have ever been so simultaneously thrilled, and terrified by console modding.

I made a PSP before Sony did when I was in highschool, the monstrosity was made using a PS2 slim, a 2 cell laptop battery, and an LCD screen from a car DVD player setup Mine used a lot less duct tape than yours though

I've never seen someone literally attack sensitive components with such a Laissez-faire approach. It's like guerilla warfare on soldering and re-arranging of components. Keep up the good work!
