In the original Perfect Dark, I loved planning custom themed multiplayer scenarios. We had a Matrix one where it was hacker mode with smart slow motion. For bots, we had all meat bots dressed as civilians and then a couple dark bots in suits. They were just as terrifying as I imagined agents would be.

Its nice to see Joanna back in her OG style and not that pop star look from zero. It’s nice to finally see them get serious about IPs they bought so long ago. You guys should watch the interview ... they seem to really care and want to honor the original while modernizing it ... they’re looking for that perfect balance. Deep Rock Galactic, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us 2, Hades, & Void Bastards were my 5 personal favorite gaming experiences in the most excellently bogus 2020. Wasteland 3, without its bugs at launch, would've been on that fringe. Cyberpunk...well, uh...yeah. Maybe by Fall 2021 it'll resemble 80% of what was hyped.

The Perfect Dark discussion was disappointing, especially when it was delayed a week. There was a development video they released after the Game Awards that spoke more about the game. There’s other info out there too. I'm really excited for it and can't wait to see gameplay.

I enjoyed the discussion. I'm in exactly the same place with Perfect Dark. I loved it on N64 and never played the Xbox game. That trailer didn't feel like a Perfect Dark game. I have very low expectations, but maybe they can pull off a reboot that would be more impressive than the God of War reboot.
