Honestly, I feel that Cyberpunk does have a "big opening set piece", but it takes place roughly 10-15 hours in when you finally see the official title screen. That entire section is an incredible opener that is more impactful because it's not directly at the open.

I don't get it, Control is so much worse than anything I've seen from Cyberpunk on base consoles, that game literally stops for a few seconds everytime a fight starts and that game won game of the year awards.

Hey Game Scoop! crew. When Rare was being prepared to be sold by the Stamper brothers, they cut a deal with Nintendo to publish their own titles. This gave them some IPs to help increase their value. This is why Perfect Dark, Killer Instinct and Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie are now owned by Microsoft, as Rare published those titles.

I can't say for sure, but I would say yes. Justin just moved to the mid-west and Casey from Nintendo Voice Chat moved to the east coast. I think IGN is transitioning to a remote-work company.

I know the overall picture is different between Skyrim and Cyberpunk, but is there any chance this is the new Skyrim. When Skyrim launched on PS3 is was literally unplayable for a long period of time, but it's a game that people always go back to and brought onto literally every console because you can sink so much time into and want to know about the lore and explore the massive world.

Haven't played a lot of bad games this year, but tried out Rogue Company for a couple of hours and it's probably the least inspired game I've played ever. A totally bland esthetic and it offers nothing at all that you can't get better from literally every other 4v4/5v5 shooter on the market.

I got Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 Pro - no major complaints of glitches (some minor ones), overall the game looks interesting, but the gripes I have is stuff that wouldn't have made it past the beta but somehow ended up in the game. First of all, the console controls are HORRIBLE! I have no idea how all these people are playing on console and are simply Ok with the worst analog stick aiming since Overwatch's launch (Overwatch has since improved). There's a very noticeable lag between the analog stick and aiming on screen. It's unresponsive and the acceleration on it is completely off. Other controls are just silly (Circle crouches, but circle also skips conversation, so I find myself skipping conversations I wanted to listen to just because I decided to uncrouch), but seriously regret buying it on console. I wish I could change it to PC version.

Clearly the timing for Cyberpunk release has been in question. I love CDPR but they should have not released the game on 12/10/20. Push back q1 2021. They know they have the consumers dollar. Thats the problem. CDPR should have taken the consumers money in consideration and did the right thing. Think of the praise they would have gotten with a finished product? Please CDPR don't fall into the Bethesda way of business.

I think they shout themselves in the foot by announcing this as a current gen title a few years ago. 1.) there’s no way they could’ve just released next gen versions 2.) every version of the game was hindered by the last gen versions 3.) the last gen versions would be where the vast majority of people would buy the game as not everyone has next gen/a pc 4.) the last gen version had to come out this year for cdpr to recoup the cost of development
