About that argument regarding "the devs forgot their audience was eight year olds" The devs didn't necessarily forget that, but they were probably hoping the people buying a Dick Tracy game would be fans of Dick Tracy. Having devoured my dad's Dick Tracy comics as a kid before discovering this on the shelf at Blockbuster, I beat it in a single weekend.
