I think a 60$ dualshock 4 plus a 3$ controller clamp is a better setup then a kishi.. thats what im running now and its pretty good and comfortable. If you already have a ps4 controller then a 3$ clamp is all you need

There's a Razar app that helps you tune the controller a little better called Kishi (easily enough to remember the name), and recommends games that are compatible. You also didn't cover how easy it is to charge your phone while still in the controller cradle. Shout out to the Note 9 too! Amazing phone!

I am still angry that my Razer Serval lost support so quickly after I bought it and I can't properly use it in Android 10, especially on my Steam In Gome Streaming and PSone emulator, if it worked in those two and nothing else I'd still be fine with it. It uses bluetooth and it should be native on most games. That's it, just wanted to vent out frustration with Razer controllers on Android. Now I'll watch the video.

Whats the problem with pad? Its possible that you don't have inbuilt support for gamepads other than ps4/xbox in your android 10 OS, so you have to install custom rom/kernel

Mine still works fine. The problem with it is that it requires the old Synapse software. Synapse 3 won't recognize it. Which is still pretty stupid, since i have to have both versions of Synapse running at the same time.

I've used a bunch of android specific controllers like this (ipega, glap, etc). And for $99, just buy a Xbone Controller or a DS4 with a cheap foldable phone holder for almost half the price and twice the quality. And you'll maintain access to your charging ports, no deadzones issues, it won't block your speakers, and it has rumble for specific games or PC game streaming. My DS4 has become my main android gaming controller

Yup I have an Xbox controller with a $14 clip and it feels like I have the ultimate handheld. But with that being said I see the appeal of these controllers. Like if the razer Kishi had the same button feel, triggers, and thumb sticks as an xbox controller it would be well worth the $99 at least to me. You can enable home screen "Rotate to landscape mode" By holding on your screen to open the home screen menu, then pressing home screen settings and scrolling down until you find the option. This will allow your home screen to rotate like an iPad!

For anyone considering Rainway, if you have an Nvidia graphics card I'd recommend Moonlight over Rainway. Moonlight's interface isn't as pretty, but performance-wise it's much much better than Rainway.

On top of cloud gaming or game streaming, I’d love to see more IOS/android games have a cross-buy option with consoles and PC. Modern phones are on par with a Nintendo switch interns of performance, so why are gamers not giving more reasons for more substantial games to be on the phone. Phones a a few smart moves away from doing to gaming what the iPhone done to iPods, and homogenise my portable devices. I would totally carry around a Bluetooth controller to game on the go.

Android controllers are basically HID devices, you can get a similar experience, even slightly better by going with manufacturers that actually cater to Android gaming like iPega or Gamesir for a lot less money and better quality than this, they don't have type C connectivity though, but, the input lag is negligible in 90% of cases.

For people that wanted a similar device but has less budget just grab an Ipega Red Knight. It even holds the phone vertically for DS emulation.

I have it and it's awesome but for me it has two downsides. It's bluetooth so needs to be charged separately and there's no charging passthrough so no way to charge the phone while playing unless you play in portrait. On the flip side i use it with the Chromecast to play GeForce Now on TV since it's bluetooth.

Devices like that are more for ppl into retrogaming and emulation. That's where it really shines.

@@Deinorius its direct xonnect trhough usb lort. Virtually no latency. Im so mucj better and accurate. The analog controls are godly good. It reaaly feels like a slightly smaller xbox controller. Best investment ive done for myself with the amouny of games i ca play for hours per session. Plus cast it to my tv when im home. Homemade switch.

To be fair, you will get used to the input lag. I reached G rank on monster hunter freedom unite and played thumper on mine. Both games are pretty strict with input precision.

Just use a PSP Emulator on the Phone: better racing Games, better Beat em Up's and real Good Controller Support. Best thing, no cash traps. Seriously, if the would just port the PSP Burnout Games one to one to Android, I would buy it again. Same for PSP Tekken and Mortal Kombat.

There are so many of these on the market, so there are a lot of options... First time seeing a strap to keep them attached instead of it being telescopic! Think it would be a little more flashy being a razer product and I have seen better designs but not bad!
