If you can get over a few arcadey moments, you're going to really enjoy it. The attention to detail and appreciation for military language is the best I've seen in any game. Thought I would hate it and wound up really enjoying it. Too short, though.

I agree. EA put so much pressure on Danger Close to rush Warfighter out the door, it ended up being a glitched mess of a game. The only thing I liked about it was the multiplayer and even that wasn't all that great. Medal of Honor 2010, however, is one of my favourite modern fps games to date. I hate how just because people think Warfighter sucks, they think this game is bad as well. I love 2010, I don't like Warfighter, which was developed only by Danger Close, while 2010 was by DC and DICE.

I love the headshot icon showing up whenever you do one. It's so awesome to fire at an enemy from 200 metres away and see that icon popping up to tell you that you got lucky and popped a guys head from a huge distance. The only thing I don't like in this review thinks that being linear is bad when 90% of video games (especially FPS's) these days are linear. Other than that this is a very fair review.

Guns and aiming handle awkwardly, environment is not properly to scale and feel strange to traverse, and frame rate plummets at times in both singleplayer and multiplayer... Also, it should be noted that in multiplayer, the fov is very wide and makes the game feel awkward to play. It was kind of aggravating for me. Also, the two game modes use different engines, so they both feel significantly different. It's just a mess of a game, to be honest...

Anyone notice the ammo glitch? Guns start at weird amounts of ammo like 21 or 19 when reloaded, and can't be reloaded till they hit the normal amount. :/

@migelioo yes. in some levels you ride in vehicles and in one level you use a quad bike to get around. I think there may be some others I'm not sure.

So I just picked this up for a dollar at GameStop my "used" copy was complete with the online pass which was good and has the HD version of front line on the disc one of my favorite for the ps2 needless to say I came up

They're designed on two different gaming engines. Campaign is powered by Unreal Engine 3, while mulitplayer uses the Frostbite engine.

I actually had this a while ago,bought it used,and returned it. I bought it again a few hours ago for like 9 bucks.its a nice refreshing change from COD. The fact that the premise is based in reality is a nice change. Cant wait for Warfighter.

well, you don't zoom in on the enemies when you're knifing someone, the knife radius isn't 2 feet, and it actually takes time to knife.

@cmank993 MOH is amazing but they don't include glory execuations. MOH reminds the same as the past,only its set in Afghanistan playing as Tier 1 oeprators(real TIER 1 MILTIA voice actors) fighting the taliban. It really describe the reality of the soliders fighting the taliban. COD would have never exsisted without MOH

The singleplayer stands out for me as one of the best in FPS war games, because it focuses on comradery, the soldier's story, and you actually get to care about the character you play as. That's something not every game does. Lately, only Mafia 2, MoH and Red Dead Redemption have done this. I salute the developers behind these games. Job well done.

Listen people! This game is incredible. Absolutely without a doubt has DICE's signature all over it: gorgeous sound, graphics, multiplayer gameplay. Yeah, the single player campaign is a little too easy, but the cinematic overtones are so rich, I could hardly care less. Blissful entertainment. And the multiplayer is unbelievable...extremely engaging, challenging and vicious. On a cautious whim, I rented it....now can't wait to buy it! Thanks DICE and Danger Close....beautiful game!

@SuperDrunkMoose Depends on what kind of game you want. They are totally different games. MoH is an FPS whereas Condemned 2 is far more on an FPB (First Person Brawler). Yes C2 has guns but 90% of the combat is hand to hand/melee based fighting.

finally a pretty good review i was looking at the ign review and it was so biased and they gave it a 6.0 at least gamespot gave a little better of a mark 7.5... but still this game deserves alot more because it is very well made and well balanced i dont see any flaws with this game except lack of some replay value and very little custimization but i kinda like that. if there was alot of custimization it would probley ruin the game. but still i strongly believe this game should rate 9.0 or 8.5

@anhtransport they dropped the ping a bit thats why the graphics arnt as good, but look at bfbc2, there were always issues with getting stuck on doors and walls.... but you were able to do much more which made up for it.

How incredibly creative Custom classes- it was the first shooter for custom classes, I think, but before that, there was Morrowind (2003) Customisable weapons: They might have been the first to do that, but obviously it's not that big, because games like Army of Two have far deeper systems, and on top of that, COD4 has what? 60 guns? Borderlands has 17 million. Role-playing esque elements- such as? Killstreaks: Ok. Even if some are fucked up (nuke) Dialouge: SWRC?

@Catmangamer Yeah it did revolutionize a lot... and games like that don't come often. Revolutionary FPS games that come to mind would also be Bioshock, Half-Life, MAYBE Portal, Borderlands... SWRC felt much ahead of its time.
