Technically undead are immune to fear and terror. It´s just that they basic undead units have no cohesion or leadership, and will crumble as soon as their leader takes their eyes off them and they start getting cut down.

If this was based on a certain event in the lore, the Witch Hunters weren't certain it was Manny at this point, only that the Von Carsteins (who encompass most of the nobility in Sylvania,) were up to something; Volkmar sent a Witch Hunter to find the truth. Manny was not impressed, and declared war on Franz by dropping said Witch Hunter's body on the Imperial Palace.

Not exactly. Yes, the more of yours that die, the more the enemies army is bolstered, assuming a necromancer is about, but the undead are far weaker in general infantry, so say a shield wall would crush them without support.

Prior to world war one, most armies simply left their wounded on the field and kept fighting, picking up the survivors and attempting to save them after the battle. An undead army physically cannot continue to exist without a necromancer. When the necromancer dies, the army begins to literally crumble to dust.

Vampires don't become under the thrall of the vampire who made them. This is why Warhammer vampires are relatively rare and fairly picky about who they turn. Turning their enemies into vampires would only make their enemies stronger.

Vampire Counts are more personified by being able to actively deceive humans and work within their politics to secure power. It's only in the End Times this breaks down. Mannfred screws-up everything for the Vampire Counts, Vampire Coast and Arkan trying to resurrect Nagash. Causing Chaos to win and destroy the world.

That's why I never bought any TW after rome 2. I was convinced to buy a "complete edition" involving the whole series, steam promotion back when Attila was brand new, and it was indeed "complete"... I'm wondering where the hell my WWI and WWII total war is? I mean seriously, if they did it right it would be so damn perfect. Imagine landing your troops on the beaches of Normandy, or Okinawa. Or imagine landing your troops on the beaches of London, and Los Angeles if you want to change up history. Did you notice how the troops out of the towers charged the wall line? Pretty significant for sieges. Weak units on the ladder, elites in the towers. While trying to time your attack with your flying units and magic could be really fun. AI will do much better against humans. Legendary will be quite crushing now. Prepare for your garrisons to die like crows on a wall.

Even the Azhag vid most infantry jump at each other at the charge and the animation looked similar to the one from all kinds of green skins, great swords, Berserkers, So why not VC too? It seems to me more like a new charge mechanic to make it more impact. They explained this in the firepass vid.

There have been several hit and miss mods for undead/zombies that were simply reskins with the weapons removed from the hands but now that there are actual models for undead units themselves it'll be great. I wasn't really hyped for the vampire counts (I'm a chaos chosen player) but the thought of defending a town against an entire army of slow shambling zombies is amazing

I think he means generic undead. Like Zombies and Skeletons, they technically don't fear anything (mostly because they're too far gone to even comprehend any kind of emotion, much less feel fear).

So these emperial soilders are yellow and i dont know much about the difrent kingdoms of the empire but does this mean we will get a viarity of soilder from the difrent areas of the empire? Like get these yellow soilders as musketmen and the red ones from the black fire pass battle as a infantry unit? +firefish a little long read but heres the list of provinces of the empire with their soldiers colors : Altdorf - Largest and wealthiest city in the Empire. They use red and blue and often use the griffons head and hammer of sigmar symbols. Soldiers of Altdorf have lavish uniforms. Averland - Wealthy southerners. They guard the dangerous black fire pass. Black and yellow colours and their symbol is a sun. Hochland - Heavily forested region, troopers known for marlsmenship. Colours are red and green, banner is a white imperial cross and a red field. Middenheim/Middenland - Hearty northeners, devotees of ulric. Middenland use blue, Middenheim city troops are white and blue. Symbols usually inclde a white wolf. Nordland - Coastal province famous for its navy and mariners. Blue and yellow. Provincial banner is a sea eagle clutching a shield with the galley icon. Symbols include the five pointed crown of the sea god and fish. Nuln - Home of the gunnery school. Black uniforms. Banner is a golden lion holding the scales of judgement. Symbols include scales, bridge of nuln and cannons. Ostermark - Rural northern province. A sombre land. Colours are purple and yellow or purple and white (although its more dark red than purple). Banner is a crowned manticore. Ostland - Stubborn northerners living under the forest of shadows. Black and white. Their symbol is the bull, often rampant in white or red if its just a bulls head. Reikland - Professional southerners, superior attitude. White or fawn uniforms. Black or red eagle symbols. Stirland - Poor and rustic, colours are green and yellow although often they just wear a token of these colours such as ribbons or feathers as coloured uniforms are expensive. Land includes sylvania. Banner is a skeleton blowing a hunting horn. Home to the stir river patrol. Talabecland - Vast heavily forested region. Red and yellow. Crowned eagle banner. Antlers or a tree as symbols. Talabheim - fortified city in talabecland, lies in a massive crater. Red and white, banner is a warrior maiden, symbols are often the two tailed comet. Wissenland - southmost province, grey and white. Banner is a white lion carrying a black pennant.

I find it funny how all of the original trailers for the game portrayed the dwarves/empire as underdogs compared to the greenskin and vampire count factions. Yet everytime I play the game, Karl Franz and Thorgrim dominate the campaign map.

+Hellkite he's a hero, all the heros will do that. The heros aren't like generals in regular total war, they're unstoppable gods that can slaughter mass numbers of enemy units, and SHOULD be used in combat regularly. That being said, if your hero goes down, your army suffers a MASSIVE morale boost. In the case of undead armies, if they follow the precedent set by table tops, I think if you lose your head guy the army actually crumbles into dust.
