As we speak of Crying Child's real name. I think it's Dave. Wolfier and Godzilla theorized that the bite-victim is named Evan but hte problem with the final answers is "I'm scared". Wolfie had problems with the answer that broke his methodology and Godzilla thinks that the answer matches with page 47, but how is it related? So I decided to give it a shot so the final answer "I'm scared" might match with the question of: "Do you have dreams?". The question is on page 41, so I plug 41 into the foxy grid and I got the letter D. So instead of Evan it now says "Evad". If you flip the name it now says Dave. Dave was also the fake name that William Afton used in the Silver Eyes novel in the fourth closet novel. This would also make sense to William using his dead son's ("Dave Afton's") name, since William falled into madness after his 2 child's deaths and started to kill 5 children to get out of his pain. So in conclusion I think the crying child's name is Dave Afton.

What if the tallies are for solving Mike's identity? They are in his red pen after all. For now, I have it in my head that Mike is keeping track of each haunted animatronics at each location. That would explain why there's a random 4 tally mark when the majority of them are 5. The book came out after sister location where there is only 4 major haunted animatronics (Baby, Freddy, Foxy and Ballora) while the other's have had at least 5 (Foxy, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and either the puppet or Golden Freddy). It's not perfect, but it's something.

Now that I'm re-watching this, I started to do a bit of thinking regarding how Godzilla came up with the letter 'N' for the crying child's name. I wonder if the actual solution to the Foxy grid is to actually draw an 8-bit Foxy and then go from there. I don’t have any idea what you’d do with the letters in the grid after you were done with the drawing. Sure that might seem like a rather simplistic approach, but I also wouldn’t put it past Scott to put the solution right in front of our face, probably expecting that we would look in more of the obscure places for clues. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just a random thought that occurred to me. Also, Evan being the crying child is my personal head canon now. It just sounds right to me.

Something it seems most people overlook is that in FNaF 3, phone guy says that there were multiple, and simultaneous springlock failures at the sister location. Not sure how important it is, or if he’s even talking about the sister location from the 5th game, but it still interesting. It also would have to be before William Afton got springlocked since phone guy dies in FNaF 1, and William gets springlocked after that location closes.
