It's canon fact that pokemon can breed with other creatures so long as they share the same egg group and the two pokemon like each other. Chansey's egg group would in fact look similar to a humans "egg" group, they would just need to evolve to not have an external egg and incubate inside a womb instead of in an egg

One thing I'm surprised you didn't mention when talking about Meowth was that learning to speak and walk upright actually crippled his ability to function as a Pokemon. Team Rocket's Meowth can't use or learn Payday, and it's implied it can't evolve, either.

Fun mini theory I've had for awhile: It was confirmed in Journeys that Team Rocket's Meowth can Gigantamax and as we know in Sword in Shield, Gigantamax Meowth can't evolve until you remove it's ability to Gigantamax with some Max Soup. Therefore, Team Rocket's Meowth can't evolve currently, but if it were to eat some Max Soup then it could if it wanted. But that's just a theory, a Game Theory! (also this theory extends to Ash's pikachu who also can gigantamax; and maybe possibly Koharu/Chloe's eevee who can't evolve although it hasn't been confirmed if her eevee can gigantamax or not yet)

No because Pokémon is in a floating timeline. It is kinda weird because for some weird reason Kukui’s and Burnet’s child did age a little bit. because its an evolution, not a morphing. look at shiny charmander's evolution tree. shiny charmander is yellow ish. shiny charmeleon becomes a bit brighter yellow but not the same as charmander. and then shiny charizard is just black. evolutions don't necessarily have the same color scheme as their pre-volutions. exact same thing with chansey and blissey. and nurse joy would be the next evolution from blissey, hence different color shiny.

I have a different theory: In the Pokemon universe, "Pokemon Center" is a brand name, like PetSmart. Nurse Joy is the mascot of the Pokemon Center. They only hire women that meet a certain profile; the rest is make-up/contacts and a pink wig. I was thinking the entire time, "Is this the rule 34 hill you wish to died on?" The two lore entry helped. I think it is more likely that a Chansey in the past did transform into Nurse Joy as you said, but that's it. The current Nurse Joys were descendants of that one seems more likely than current Chanseys having a high chance of evolving into Nurse Joys. We saw how difficult and rare it was for Meowth to do what he did, and he hasn't finished the transformation. The chances of multiple Chanseys achieving this seems unlikely. An ancestor transforming into Nurse Joy and retaining powerful genetics like pokemons to produce Nurse Joys seems more likely.

Jenny has partners. (Growlithe, Manectric, etc.) If you look at Manectric, you see the hair is the same. The spikes are the same, along with the slight difference of blue. (I had typed out a whole paragraph for it to get deleted, so this is what you get) Sorry)

I've seen this theory video several times and keep waiting for the Jenny video, but I've finally came to my own conclusion... Jenny is the final evolution of Sqirtle. They mainly team up with the dogs (Gro. and Ar.) to deal with their weakness to fire and their lack of speed and dexterity.

so i was just rewatching the pokemon sun and moon anime, and in episode 4 rotom dex literally takes a picture of nurse joy and says "updating nurse joy" rotom only takes pictures and update profiles of pokémon... so i guess you got this theory right then

And Ash, and Max, and brock, and that one family of fat irish men who are all identical receptionists, and four groups of eeveelution families, one of which are all brothers and the other are all sisters, ect. I really wish we could see bobby at some point. Because apparently he looks so much like Ash that their own mothers can't tell them apart, but we DID see Max and his twin duplicate also named Max, and both were surprised and angry to see another kid with the same name, face, personality, clothing, and voice.

Alternatively, nurse Joy is the result of gene splicing a human and a Chancey, to get a hybrid that is capable of proper communication with Pokemon and humans. It explains everything brought up in this video, and we know for a fact that cloning and gene manipulation are existing technologies in the Pokemon world

she probably has more than 600 so she would be on par with legendaries or pseudo legendaries and she would be a tank because blissey's base health is 255 her attack and defense might be trash tho, less than 50 defo. She could put the extra stats into Attack and Defense. I think hp is 260, attack is 40, defense is 35 and everything else is the same as Blissey IF she is 600 base power which may not be true.

Oh no. This wouldn't disprove the theory, because Jessie looks strikingly similar to Nurse Joy. Even the same blue eyes with similar coloured hair (which could easily be restyled, as Pokemon hair is often restyled), face shape and proportions. She wasn't a Chansey but could well have been a Pokemon even then. A frightening thought. A catchable Team Rocket member would be awkward.

Jessie is not a pokemon, her mother doesn't look identical to her and it's normal in that world to have colored hair. Jessie wasn't a pokemon so she couldn't pass the exam The thing I tried to focus more is how there was never shown a school for nurses joy but only for Chanseys. And since matpat said joy is a evolution for Chansey it makes sense. They are always working together But you made me pay attention to something. It's normal to have colorized hair and some human characters even have powers, mostly psychic. And why's that ? They may not be pokemon themselves but may have pokemon genes that they carry for generations since of the " humans used to marry pokemon back in the day" that just makes sense

Yes! Someone mentioning Jessie looks like the Joys! I rejected the idea there are no male Joys. The Joys are sexually dimorphic so the males just don't look very distinctive, but they can still pass on recognizable Joy trates to their female offspring. Jessie's father was a male Joy, her mother wasn't part of the extended family. Her birth threatened the carefully cultivated genepool. In an effort to make sure the world would never see the imperfect half-Joy, the Joys rigged it so she would fail nursing school and be swept under the rug forever. Try to convince me otherwise.

While most Pokemon variants are solely shiny and default, there are many specific exceptions to this and more that keep being added too, such as seasonal, regional, mega, type shift, gigantamax, and so on, along with Pokemon differing depending on gender regularly which presents the genuine possibility that there could be male Nurse Joys with less obviously similar genes. Although that of course doesn't tie into the Chansey situation, but it's definitely not impossible lore-wise for a Pokemon to have a lot of different appearances it can end up with, and without the Pokedex being used on them it's entirely viable to assume the variants could come in many ways. Interesting. I do not think there are male variants without being extremely rare but I do think a case could be made to justify how there could be male variants, and there absolutely could be female exceptions like Jessie who stray from the norm more than usual, considering many of the Nurse Joy's already different appearances. Jessie's hardly far off, after all. I like this idea.
