Maybe you should add “Discovery” to that triad and make it “CARD”. Lots of people play games to just see something they haven’t seen before or find out what happens in a story. There are whole categories of games that are single player, low skill, extremely linear, but high on narrative/mystery/visual appeal.

The whole thing is a hunger games-esque metaphor for class struggle. The proletariats fight each other to win a crown to be accepted by the elites as new money. Actually Door dash is quite easy, not that random if you play it clever, won about 99% of my door dash levels.. Just go in the middle, stay back a bit (never try to break a door, thats why you might lose) wait for someone to find the right door and go through there.. When you cross a door, always jump and dash at the same time and you will never get stuck on the others, ez.

Idea on how to fix tail tag: Whenever you have a tail, you slowly gain points. If you get to a certain number of points, you advance. Only a certain amount can advance. You can gain points after 10 seconds have passed to avoid giving an unfair advantage to people who start with a tail. This prevents gameplay only mattering in the last 5 seconds. For team tail tag, there really isn't an option that I can think of. Team games will not be liked in general in fall guys. I hope that I didn't miss anything.

Overwatch has this same problem. There's Tanks, Supports, and DPS roles, tanks protect their teammates, supports heal damage, and DPS are the primary damage dealers. DPS is the most popular role because its seen as the funnest. But Tanks and Supports HATE the DPS players. DPS have the least responsibility to the team, but they have the highest opportunity to carry a game if they're good, but they can also completely throw a game if they're not playing well, and its hard to call them out for it. Consequently, people get fed up trying to tank and heal DPS and go play DPS themselves because its fun with low team responsibility and the cycle continues.

How to fix Tail Tag: Step 1: Look at Shine Thief in Mario Kart, where players are scored for how long they hold onto the Shine Sprite. Teams must collectively hold onto the Shrine Sprite for a certain amount of time, spread out amongst all team members. Step 2: Include said single player and team time-based point system into Fall Guys. Step 3: Profit!

I was thinking the same thing. Tail tag isn't fun because it feels extremely random. Even if you have a tail the entire time your team can still easily lose. On the other hand something like Fall Ball feels like the whole game matters. But beyond that having a bonus for doing well in team games would help. Perhaps have the people who did the most for their team get put in the front line in the next game. It's not a huge bonus but it makes it feel more like your individual actions matter. You might even adjust it so that the person on each team who did the least on the winning team gets eliminated and the person who did the most on the losing team goes on.

My thought was actually to give it a point system akin to Call of Duty's domination. Hold a zone, get points each second you have it. Hold multiple zones, get more points each second. Apply that to team tail rag. Each team gets one point every second for every tail they have. This would make the game feel less random but the one down side is if you display the points, which I hope they would, you could end up in a situation where you know that there's no way to make up the points, you could end up like I see a lot of the time in the soccer game where one team just gives up.

Stupendium actually had a VERY interesting spin on Fall Guys in the song he made on it... if it's a darker lore you're after then I'd actually like to see if you could "prove" Stupendium's take as actual lore. There's probably something in the characters' sound effects that would give context, you could probably calculate how many games there must be on the game's "show" (10 million players, 60 beans in every episode of the show) and figure out how the show stays afloat, and not to mention all the obstacles are FLOATING IN THE AIR with mechanics or FLOODED by slime (to prevent escape?)... Of course, that's just the bare bones of a theory...

In a video by Jay Exci, he mentioned that the reason he thinks Team Tail Tag is so frustrating is because it's binary in its results. If your team loses with a tail, you couldn't personally have done any better, which is frustrating. On the other hand, if your team wins and you don't have a tail, you couldn't personally have done any worse. It's a fascinating theory. Also, another thing that contributes to frustration that was also brought up by Jay Exci is how arbitrary some of the games are. Going back to Tail Tag, 90% of the time, the result would have been completely different had the clock stopped a few seconds earlier or later, which was touched on in the video. It's just an interesting point.

Hey theorists. I, a fellow loyal theorist, have a theory regarding the dry-bones and dry-bowser for game theory. It’s a bit long, but I hope you guys enjoy! Most people who like Mario may know that dry-bones and dry-bowser have different skull shapes than their living counterparts. These differences are at the eye sockets and the and jaws. I believe that this is evolution. And that these reanimated corpses are the work of magic koopas. The “beak” of the dry-bone’s has three extra teeth on the side, yet koopas, strangely have no teeth in this area. The beaks of these skeletons are bigger overall. This could be the koopa troopa’s evolving to be more peaceful since Mario appeared. They begin this change in Super Mario 64 where Mario races koopa the quick. Now on to dry bowser. Dry bowser has the same situation with the eyes but the snout, well, isn’t a snout. It’s a beak. This could show that this is a race of koopas evolving to where you could differentiate the royal class from the lower ranks. Here’s the kicker. I theorize that dry-bowser... is bowsers father. We know that within shorts spans of time, the ruler toads can evolve to have different features, such as peach and peachette. (check out matpat’s video about that) Dry bowser has also has a different hair style than bowser. Bowser has a sort of Mohawk-mullet while dry-bowser has a pony-tail. So the lore. Dry bowser died by the army of toads when king toadstool ruled. This left him trapped in the ruins of a castle. This takes place before Yoshi’s Island and explains the absence of bowser’s father. He sat in the vat of lava for about 2-3 decade’s until bowser junior scared for his fathers life, used kamek’s magic to resurrect dry bowser when his father died. He took the time to find a reverse his father’s death. Dry bowser is now locked up in the magma of the mushroom Kingdom waiting to be released until his own son calls upon him. I know that bowser turns into dry bowser in New Super Mario Bros, but I’ll interpret that as dry bowser being awakened and bowser dying. Some side notes. Dry bowser’s fire is blue because of more experience to heat, bowser named his son bowser jr. to continue the chain of bowsers, and dry bowser is bowser senior. That’s just a theory! A game theory! It's the same in Forza Horizon 4 Team Ranked. I was playing on a 3v3 ranked a few days ago: The other team had 1 player in first and 2 in last, my team had me in second and the other 2 in 3rd and 4th. So all 3 of us were making 200 points each over the 2 other players = 600 The other team had the 1st place making 300 points for being in front of us 3 plus 50 for being 1st (the others were making 0 points) = 350 Then 1 of the players on the other team quit and suddently the game was 350 to 300 for them We litteraly lost 300 points because a noob who was dead last quit the game. If it wasn't a team ranked I'd be in Second having been in 1st the last race when the other guy wasn't in 2nd, meaning I'd be winning.
