Russia has free education, including university education, it has low had low unemployment rate, for years. Less than 6%. 63% of the adults have tertiary education, thats one of the highest in the world, second only to South Korea, and their economy actually absorps graduates after school. It is going to be super difficult for such a country to lose its 'educated' people. Its important to separate wishing for something to be true and the actual reality. They fact of the matter is, western companies leaving the russian market, hurts them more. They came to Russia not to make Russia rich, but to make profit, it was a business investment. Them leaving, and losing billions worth of investment, doesn't hurt Russia more. They are leaving their assets, infrastructure in Russia, for free or for less returns. Let me give you an example, McDonald's, what value did it add to Russia? Or Nike, other than employing locals and maybe taxes (but we know how these large companies know how to avoid paying large taxes) anyways, my point is this, when they left, Russian owners took over, after all, the stuff was Russian, the suppliers and customers were Russians. Its the same everywhere , it gave opportunity for Russians to take over already established businesses. Its why countries insist foreign companies should have local shareholders, and local citizens in top management positions.

Not only is their financial capital flight, but there is also intellectual capital flight. In the modern technology economy, human capital is often as or more important than financial capital. That is why technology companies with little financial capital are often highly valued in the stock market. *To be fair* the GDP chart for post-2014 is largely due to a dip in oil prices, rather than sanctions - at least that seems to be the consensus. The sanctions mostly just diminished Russia's ability to construct new modern weapons which we're seeing the impact of today. The new sanctions are quite a bit nastier and while Russia does get the "adrenaline high" of high gas prices and a strong ruble due to lack of imports, once oil prices stabilize they're going to start to realize that huge swathes of their civilian economy and wealth have just up and left the country and that nobody is willing to invest in them in the future. Even Chinese investors are keeping their distance. Honestly I just wish the west had implemented this level of sanctions when Russia took Crimea. It may have prevented him from invading Ukraine. Alas, the benefit of hindsight. :(

Then to get fined $200 dollars for speaking Russian, they will eventually die from starvation or dehydration. Ukraine really trying to cause a genocide of Russians. So he isn't wrong to defend his folks. It's unfortunate that out mainstream media doesn't mention all that instead chose to try make Putin look like a madman. The comparison of oil transfer at 5:03 using ships/days is not a lucky choice as it paints a skewed picture, in reality it is worse for Russia. Because Europe got oil/gas via pipelines and you can get a HUGE amount of oil/gas using a pipeline compared to ships. And 9 out of 10 pipelines are going to Europe from Russias western fields and the only one going from Russia to China is an oil pipeline from Russian's east Siberia, which is a shale oil field created in partnership with Shell as technology provider. ... I wonder how that one will keep running without spare parts from the west, not impossible, but it is a run against time to reverse engineer before first major malfunction. I have seen a report somewhere that if that oil flow stops for a single day in Siberia, the whole pipeline cracks.

yes, and even worse is Gas. Oil is at least a liquid, but gas needs special infrastructure, either pipelines (all going to Europe) or LNG terminals (which are probably already at capacity) Russia has also implicitly put Oil and Gas into a suicide pact, where if Europe shuts off the oil, Russia will shut off the gas, which is an interesting development

@@Hrotiberhtaz I suspect China won't want to buy too much Russian oil and gas because they've seen how Putin is willing to use that natural resources as a political weapon if you don't do what they want, so China will take advantage of Russia by pressuring them to sell oil and gas dirt cheap but they won't buy too much that they risk becoming dependent on them. Also, gas is a different story as that isn't easy to transport like oil is and another factor is that the likes of China and India will want to be careful of what the west does, basically, it could harm a lot of business interest from China and India in the west if they get too close to Russia when the world is trying to isolate Russia, hence why a lot of companies from China are either pulling out of Russia or scaling back as the west is far more valuable to them than Russia is and these companies seem to be doing it voluntarily without the government pushing it, basically, these companies are protecting their interest in the west and don't see Russia as being worth it with everything going on.

Ever seen a US base full with advanced technology, and the soldiers have to seat on a piece of wood and shitting in an open ditch? Microchips can’t make anybody civilized or intelligent. Little doubt Russia would have fallen without it. They also were saved by the weather and poor decisions by Hitler. The USSR collapse oversaw massive struggle, I've been to Russia several times and outside of the major towns/cities it's a third world cesspit. This struggle allowed Putler to take control, through peoples fear of reliving that. Ironic that's what Putin is providing them... Funny thing is the west doesn't want the demise of Russia, that's one of your inane talking points, we want a world where nations respect the sovereignty of others instead of living in a fantasy land of imperialistic fever dreams. @@PunmasterSTP . . There are esoteric sources that said Russia will become something to help lead the world out of this current extreme corruption of mentality and unawareness. Our networks [US/western] and Soros are responsible in support by which through electoral fraud and by coercive means, the current belligerent regime has been installed in Ukraine, that was guilty of bombing its own citizens within months of taking office -- merely for disagreeing with government policy. The majority of Ukrainian citizens in the east are of Russian descent and mix, many of whom have family in Russia -- while these facts will never be revealed by corrupt media who practice no journalism at the corporate level. Putin has been extremely effective at fighting the kind of corruption that we all suffer from; therefore, the need by any means to create crisis and war in the region until the kind of government amenable to a few can be managed in Russia -- as elsewhere where we "fight for democracy" after inciting groups in nations that were too independent. While Russia today is creating gold-backed currency and a legitimate trading network on that basis -- Gadaffi the "terrorist" had also established gold backed currency and was creating a fund to support nations of Africa in place of IMF loan sharking schemes that bankrupt these nations in order to keep the status quo, while little of the money reaches the people in any form who need it -- as does foreign aid serve in the same role, propping up the few who benefit from things as they are and who believed in keeping people in their station for decades, surviving in good years -- an artificially created growth problem when not allowed to participate in western style economy after exploitation of these cultures for their resources who never before experienced a population growth crisis of any kind. Influence and control through networking has always given the impression of concern, circulated among the elite -- that group most easily managed, as they feel too important and have no other desires. Many more people are brought into a similar fold by various means through connections made that last a lifetime in personal, career and business relationships and organizations purposed for supporting this process and information/narratives shared. This is not conspiracy -- as it is a process of normalization in the affairs and evolution of human events. Normalization rather than conspiracy is how influence and corruption create and take precedence, so that awareness is hostage to the needs for anything other than ourselves to define what is real and acceptable -- the need for any form of consensus to rule us unaware, lest we ever accept responsibility. The eugenicist's philosophical insider's perspective originates from those influences that have proven time and again that concern is not in existence, but for the control and augmentation and stasis of power -- however addictive such perspective may be. To buy any conscientious philosophy at the level from which conscience is disdained and entirely outside of the culture, is to buy delusion wholesale -- regardless of one's job or social position. Consensus is a powerful motivator that requires no other confirmation or justification.

That is more than double the $120 billion that was recorded (by Russia) last year. Thus it would appear that sanctions in fact have boosted Moscow’s trade surplus. Even the exports directed to the West have been holding up well. The global rise in energy prices has boosted the revenues even further. Russian inflation is still high, but it is slowing. They do impact the people responsible for this mess, though. That's what 90% of the sanctions are focused on. The problem is... what do you do? You can't stop the military from fighting because it's got surplus materiel produced for literal decades sitting in warehouses and represents the largest land arsenal in the world. You can't stop the oligarchs because they have a ton of wealth saved up, scattered across the globe, and even without access to their bank accounts they have enough to live on for decades. So the west sanctioned tech, steel, the banking system, and everything else that could contribute to the Russian military. The plan is to ensure that the Russian military simply cannot replace its losses and grind them down with attrition until Putin comes to the table. A lot of the problems for the Russians is companies *abandoning* Russia en masse because either their logistics are no longer viable (companies refusing to do business with Russia/unable to do so due to restrictions from both sides) or because they're under extreme international pressure to abandon Russia by the public. The companies that pulled out? That's where the heaviest blow to the Russian economy - particularly the civilian market - came from, and it was never directly sanctioned outside of like... some industrial stuff. Most of them just left of their own volition because it's either do business in Russia for 0.5% of your annual income, lose 70% of that annual income due to boycotts, risk Russia doing what it did to the natural gas station and just nationalizing it out of the blue, or risk other countries deciding that they'll no longer do business and you'll have to pull out anyways. There's basically no winning move. You sanction, eventually those sanctions will impact quality of life for Russian citizens because the Oligarchs own *everything* anyways, so you can't stop their businesses without stopping business for Russian citizens. You can't even sanction just electronics without it massively impacting the populace bc their military will just use civilian electronics for military purposes - like they've been doing so far. You go to war, you risk Russia escalating to nuclear weapons and probably getting voted out of office in the next election because nobody wants to send their sons out to die in a foreign war they don't think impacts them. You ignore Russia, give up Ukraine, and now Russia is encouraged to do what it did in 2014 and 2022 by just taking shit from its neighbours and putting puppet governments in them as it so frequently has in the past. You make NATO look weak, encouraging other countries to do similar stuff to their neighbours, and you ensure that Eastern Europe will never forget that betrayal of trust. If you can think of a way to stop the conflict without impacting the Russian citizens I'm sure the world's leaders would love to hear it -- but so far as I see there's simply no way.

The only things that Russia exports are: Terrorism Oil Gas Dashcam accident footage The last two positions are the most crucial ones for EU, I thing Dashcam footages will keep coming anyway, but the gas could be a problem. But EU countries started to act and their have increased the gas reserves by huge amounts during the last few months. On top of that EU is quickly changing their sources of gas imports. There shouldn't any fuel crisis even if Putin stops exports completely.

@@bobbuilder1382 hum, not sure what you're talking about, for example, NATO led by the USA, no longer has great power, they created wars like for example in IRAQ about biological warfare with "powdered milk baby" that the Minister of the time presented in a vial to the public, the Americans are liars, then there is BRICKS+ and dedollarization, the death of American and Western Hegemony, the creation of Multi-literalism which is already a great victory for the Russians, the USA has also lost Africa…about Introduced in early April 2022 by Gregory Meeks, Deputy Representative of New York, House of Representatives resolution 7311/2022 on Russia-Africa cooperation passed on May 12, 2022 to the United States Senate. I draw the attention of Afrique des Libertés to the flagrant attack on African sovereignty in this American bill. USA PERMANENT STATE OF WAR The real concern stems from the fact that the United States has maintained a permanent state of war since 1945 and destroys all nations that attempt to escape its imperialist domination. But this cannot last forever. At some point the US will have no choice but to give up its imperialist power or maintain it through total war which involves the use of nuclear weapons. Europe could have prevented this by having an international policy independent of NATO and the USA to force the USA to accept a multipolar world, but the idiots who run the European countries did nothing in this direction. Now the world is at the mercy of error, provocation or misunderstanding. The end of humanity as we know it is near and the danger is not Putin but the US military-industrial-financial complex. Biden and the EU clearly want to wage war on Russia to the last Ukrainian. A criminal will that the Mexican president denounced in these terms: "What the Americans are doing is: 'we supply you with weapons, you supply corpses'" the right-thinking West and NATO, and all the other countries that don't even have 30% of the planet and the billions of dollars to send to Ukraine....and despite all that...Russia is already over of 170 days on Ukrainian territory is still not backing down.., not to mention the increasingly strong abandonment of the "master" dollar in the world, and the USA which is losing its power in the world vs China, the India and Russia ect... China already has the digital yuan, e-yuan, IIRC. It's some sort of crypto currency, and I bet it gives the government insight into who spends how much for what and when. They're like that. I don't know that Russia would like that, though -- it seems like corruption would be more traceable, eventually. In general, I could see China and Russia wanting to create a "global" currency to thumb their noses at the US.
