I pickpocketed the guy in the cell downstairs. Use wait until he's close and not facing you. Didn't have to use invisibility. I'm a newer player, may be benefit to invis, but this method worked well for me. Thanks for the guide, awesome as always.

Not trying to be rude but, I have played this game for a week (I'm brand new) and I already have 100 in pickpocketing without doing any guides or using items. If you are trying to steal something, just crouch behind someone, save, take all you can, if it fails, you reload the save until you get all the items, then save again. Thats how I did it.

Pro tip: the resto loop glitch will affect the deep pickets perk when you take it. Make sure to drink the potions and then take the perk and it will permanently boost your carry weight without needing an armor enchantment

Please make more of them builds like Best Mage, but instead make something like One Handed Mage or Two Handed Tank or something flexible like that. Or do a glitch less play-through where you role play as a specific character.

I’ve always just spent money on skill trainers and stole it back - effectively upping two skills at one time.

So a good advantage on a thief character is thief’s can get free training from early to mid game. They can literally pickpocket their money back. At 40% increase you can only steal back up to 500-600 gold at a time and succeed. At 60% and with the 50% coin steal increase you can take close to 1000 gold at once. At 80% with 50% coin increase and taking advantage of the 25% sleep increase bonus you can steal 1500 coins at once and very barely succeed. But it starts getting difficult after this as the only means to increase your chances is to get 100% and take advantage of pickpocket increase clothing which that’s not gonna help you a lot once you reach the 40s.. But it’s a good way to train really hard to train skills up until that point.

Alternatively you can, after getting the Shadow Stone, choose a Skill Trainer of your choice and steal your Money back from Him/Her. Balimund, Gunmar, Sorine, Florentius, Colette & Faralda are my recommendations. (Especially Balimund and the 2 Winterhold Mages).

@@GameVibzMason I’ve made poisons with just death bells and another poison item with over 445 dmg but that’s because I had abused alchemy enchantments using the fortify restoration exploit. Stronger items can do even more abused dmg like using a river betty I had one that was over 1k. 🤣

I'm trying it, and this is so stressful 😳 Every other time, I get caught and freak out. I'm kind of worried that I'll accidentally quicksave instead of load when I get caught (I've done that plenty of times before). When I started, I was at level 28. And now I know why I hate pickpocketing. But I want it to be easier for me when I have to do the pickpocket quests in the thieves guild questline.

Why not just pickpocket everyone in towns real fast? I legendaried pickpocket 3 times in about an hour. Plus got tons and tons of jewelry and enchanted items.

I don't understand why you would drop 10 grand on training for 5 levels when you can train once, pick pocket it back. That way, you get 10 levels in pick pocketing instead of 5, plus you keep your gold.

The price for paying off a guard with the thieves guild is so low that i just walk up and steal everything valuable with a 40% or higher chance and dont care if i got caught. After you level it a few times everything's 90%.

Skyrim: Can poison people by pickpocketing but be sure to have good potions on you. Players: Kinda lame.😑 Fallout 4: You can blow up people by pickpocketing and all you have to do is focus on perception to a certain degree. Players: Awesome! 😃

You shouldn't have to go to jail. Cast Invis, quicksave, pickpocket. If you get caught, don't pay, just exit the chat with guard and load last quicksave.

I do use the windhelm trainer from lv 20 i do train one lv and steal my money back rinse and reapeat got it from lv 20 to 80 in abaut 20mins
