Booster Course Wave 3 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here, and we’re checking out All Changes and differences made for the returning courses. The first race of the Moon Cup is Tour Berlin Byways. Based on the capital of Germany, it features iconic landmarks, like the Brandenburg Gate, the Victory Column, and the Berlin Wall-complete with Whomps! There was a visual glitch in the original where the Whomps' bodies would shrink before slamming down (it's noticeable if you slow the footage down), and this was gladly fixed in the port.

I found an texture bug in Boo Lake course in MK8DX

This would be an interesting find. But I just checked footage from the Metropolitan Tour and didn't see this, even at 0.25x speed. Could it have been fixed, or is it a very minor scale-down that I'm just not noticing?

The Remix Kinda sounds nice but is Really Missing the Techno Form the original And the Trumpets sounds kinda out of place somehow, That's Why I Recommend to Hear a Mashup of both Themes, ENJOY!

Its so funny you throw in some german words ;) the music in Tour is much better than in MK8DX, also in 8DX the music is to low... I like the "techno"-sound in Tour, which is so perfect for Berlin (Loveparade....)

It's mostly the flavour of the course, but I genuinely did conduct some research on names of locations and other applicable words, being particularly careful to pronounce correctly as a lingual enthusiast, although it won't be 100% perfect! But yeah, both themes are good in their own ways.

I just miss the *URGH!* sound effect from the N64 era. The *EY-URH* in 8D isn't the same 😔

@@scamuel1896 No, they're different. The *EY-URH* is the version from the Mario Galaxy series and Mario Party 8 (the Mario Party game that has the infamous controversy regarding the word "spastic")

Oh, you're right! Good catch! They at first look like improved textures, but the models are different, since Tour's design doesn't have the visible branches.
