A lot of these bring back memories of you and I walking for hours and hours looking at stuff in shops. I can attest, shopping with Pete is like an event unto itself! LOL Oh yeah, In the Japanese version of Persona 4 it actually uses the "Everyday, young life" jingle throughout. Which I guess isn't that surprising.

lot of cool stuff there, pete. honestly, there's a lot of stuff in there i'm not familiar with, but the stuff you got was pretty sweet, especially for the prices you paid. i can only imagine what it must've been like looking at all the awesome stuff in those stores.

I have already told people, that when I eventually go to Japan that I will bring an extra large suitcase just to carry back all the stuff I buy. I will be keeping importing to the bare minimum because I know I can carry a couple of grand with me to Japan and pick up everything I want for a fraction of the cost.

My wife actually got those final fantasy tactic figures the moment they were released since it is her favorite game of all time. I'm still on the hunt for that lenneth figure since I own the rest of them but I can't see myself going to japan anytime soon.

Figures are my life, i finally finished my FFVII, FFIX, FFVIII, and FFX play arts if i went to japan id have too much fun, dude, score,and i seriously cried about the Host brother parting gift! too sweet

Seems you had a very similar experience to myself when i was in Japan! I know exactly what you mean when you walk into those plastic bag stores; so many cheap figures from obscure games! Incredible experience =)

It's not a Dark Jack Frost, it's actually Black Frost, Black Frost is made by fusing Jack Frost, Pyro Jack and King Frost among a few others.

After coming back from Japan last week and now re-watching this video, I can totally relate to everything and have been to most of the awesome stores you mentioned. I love love loveed Kodobukia (however you spell it haha). Amazing stuff Pete, I know it's old but this re-watch has been epic for me. I have a post of all the games I got from Japan and also coming within a few days will be the figures and collectibles, would be amazing if you could check them out sometime.

And people wonder why I want to fucking go to Japan for one of my vacation spots. No, why I want to live there for an ideal house location. Japanese art, anime, video game merch, even advancements in technology. Not only that, but the school system there is definitely strict with grades and any parent who cares about their kids future will be happy to know the Japanese or any asian in general is strict when it comes to school. Probably 1% of the student population has Fs and that is either because he has ADD or something. I am telling you, Japan, imo, is a great country to reside in, provided that you pick a location that won't get hit by floods, earthquakes, or tsunamis.
