I’ve done this in the original game, It’s possible to get by the Druid in magic crafters by either using a very precise wall glide, or just jumping onto the stage decoration to the right, and then jumping over it. Also the way to beat Gnasty Gnorc at the end is the same, but seemingly way more precise.

2:35 actually you can reach Cedrick and the end portal without the supercharge. Just jump and glide from the castle wall into the second mouth of the cave.

you could have done a squeezed wall proxy with the amoured druid just squeeze yourself on the wall with the druid and then it will push you up in the air with a mommentum glide letting you go out of bounds in the the magic crafters homeworld

Great video! I do feel most of the challenge was in the final boss alone, but still a fun watch. Now we need to wait for spyro 2 and 3 (which I think will be easier than this game, but I will have to wait).

Wow! I didnt even know this was possible! Kudos to you, dude! Funny thing: a while back, I actually tried to do a minimalist run where Spyro cant charge, flame or glide/fly (and no glitches) and I got 23 dragons and 509 gems (some were acquired by tricking certain enemies into killing each other) before I hit a dead end due to the balloonist requiring 1,200 gems to enter Magic Crafters. Such is life! (And as you pointed out elsewhere, its impossible to beat Gnasty without the Flame Breath anyway) That said, Ive been thinking of doing a Minimalist run in the vein of this though; no charging, only 1 glide jump allowed*, and using the absolute minimum amount of jumps and flame breathes required to complete the game. Think I should give it a shot? * Going off an NGPlus vid, I find it funny that Spyro 1 only requires one glide jump in the Dream Weavers hub to complete the game!

0:19 and now that you mention it, now that you did crash, did spyro, did the DK dlc from Mario + Rabbids… i guess? Would there be a challange run possible for skylanders? Like no level ups/ upgrades? no damage? Without giants/ swap force/ trap master? Or for complete challange: without toutching gold

2 a non starter, you need to attack Gulp by charging a metal barrel into him, and this is forced for his first hit

This is late but completion of the game wasn't possible but he did beat it since he got to the end level and defeated the main boss

@@DrRank have you considered emulation? ps1 emulation is near flawless at this point. also i didnt mean to imply your video is bad or anything, my apologies if it came off that way, i just have an affinity for the original games. also wasnt a huge fan of reignited when i played it

@@DrButteFatman I prefer to play on official releases whenever possible, as most emulators are inaccurate in some way. For example, PS1 games take longer to load. The only exceptions I make are fan translations (e.g. Ace Attorney Investigations 2) and GBA games that aren't in the Wii U Virtual Console library.

@@DrRank ps1 emulation has gotten very good within the last few years, thanks to an emulator called duckstation. it runs most ps1 games perfectly (spyro & crash included) I remember using epsxe back in the day and having loads of issues w/ it. not sure if that mirrors your experience but if it does then it's worth giving duckstation a spin
