Quit dining in SouthLake...everything there is insanely expensive... You want some good ramen/apps Hit up Wabi House..go M-F during lunch hours.. $9 a bowl.. Spicy miso ramen is my fave and their Karaage chickums is 🔥 🔥 Edit: If you want burn your asshole for any ramen u choose..you can get some *spicy rayu* on the side.. take it home..too goes great with everything!

I'm not a wasabi expert, but I think the wasabi looked "diluted" because it's real wasabi. Real wasabi doesn't have that bright green color like the store-bought kind does (which is mostly just horseradish).
@챨챨
@챨챨 Жыл бұрын
Real wasabi does not have a watery consistency. It’s probably just wasabi powder mixed with water that’s couples days too old.
@heavensfaye
@heavensfaye Жыл бұрын
@@챨챨 real wasabi does have a looser consistency than packaged kind. when its freshly grated it has a "watery" look to it, like fresh grated ginger. it is grated on a texture board. also wasabi powder is very potent hence why horseradish is usually used as a base in prepackaged wasabi. So it isnt wasabi powder mixed with water, it is probably fresh or at least partly fresh.
@Sarafara7

That’s most likely not real wasabi as it’s expensive and restaurants like this won’t serve it. It’s mostly in high end restaurants.

@@eshansyed9520 that's low imo. I live in the US and for 3 people, lunch at a taco shop was $60. With appetizers and drinks, but still. It was an expensive taco place so I wasnt surprised. And honestly I just expect to pay $20+ per person these days. It really depends on where you eat and how much each person is getting. Eating out is unfortunately a luxury for a lot of people who used to be able to afford it.

Can I confuse this even more? In Australia, we call green onions, shallot as well. We also call them spring onions and scallions. I’m referring to the long green onion with the beard on it. We also have the little purple shallots and all the items that you may refer to as something different but we also like to confuse people.
