Heh, knowing the story behind it, the "No Russian" scene was pretty much specifically designed to make Makarov out to be smarter than anyone gave him credit for. No one speaking Russian means no one can tie the attack to Makarov. Leaving an American agent dead just by the getaway venue effectively ties the whole attack to the U.S. CIA. Makarov burned a rat and pinned the attack on the CIA in one move.

What about the first Fable where you had the choice to either destroy the Sword of Aeons or sacrifice your sister to power it up and keep it for yourself? Or that time you could kill the last Rachni Queen in Mass Effect 1 and render the Rachni race extinct, or the mission on Tuchanka in Mass Effect 3, where you could let Mordin sacrfifice himself and save the Krogan people or kill him and, again, doom an entire race, the Krogan this time, to extinction because you want the Salarians in your army. We can't forget about randomly deciding the sidewalk is more fun to ride the car on than a road, and the classic in GTA, using the services of a prostitute and killing her afterwards to get the money back.

Fallout 4 letting the synth clone of your son die inside the institute when you decide to nuke it, letting the institute win and do whatever they want at the cost of the railroad, the brotherhood of steel and the minute men, letting the brotherhood of steel have their way since now they're no different from the enclave in fallout 3(although i doubt the two were ever different to begin with) assassin's creed rouge, betraying everyone you knew, gta iv choosing to either make a deal with or kill dimitri rascalov, the repercussions speak for themselves

They didn't want to kill her, they had no choice if they wanted to do the operation that could save thousands. 3. It would kill her. This is a fungus that affects the brain. Removing it, no matter how gently, would alter her brain in some way, possibly by removing part of the brain. That would definitely kill her, especially as the fungus affects the most vital part of the brain.

Personally I agree with Alexander. It's not like today's hospitals, it's twenty years after the apocalypse. Half of those doctors probably don't even have a real degree, just past down knowledge from those who did, and the knowledge that would be taught to the new doctors the most would be useful things like treating infected cuts and gunshot wounds, not removing a growth hidden deep within the patients brain. Removing it in a way that kills her and then experimenting on it is much easier. It isn't an evil thing to kill her, unfortunate and regrettable yes, but evil, no. It's evil not to, think about all of the people who die from clicker bites? Either from the infection or being executed to prevent making another clicker. And then what about the people who aren't executed? The ones that turn into clickers themeselves and continue the cycle? people die from those things all the time and without new hosts, they would quickly die out. Yes she had a role to play and that's it. Sacrificing herself for the greater good. And yes it is a chance, but even a chance at saving what's left of the world is better than nothing. Also you kind of murder lots of innocent doctors when you go in there so it's not exactly and eye for an eye.

There is a particular story in World of WarCraft concerning the Defias Brotherhood in Westfall. It's a long story, but to summarize: 1) A stonemason guild rebuilds all of Stormwind after the war with the Horde, but the nobles refuse to pay the guild, which in turn leads to the leader, Edwin VanCleef, to form the Defias Brotherhood. Their goal is to destroy what they themselves had created. 2) In Vanilla WoW, us the players have been ordered to take out the Defias Brotherhood as well as their leader. We succeed after venturing into their headquarters, the Deadmines, and cut off Edwin's head to show proof of the mission. 3) Years pass and the Cataclysm expansion updates the story of Westfall. There is a rebellion going on there with tons of poor rising up to the injustices that they feel that the crown has caused. Mysterious murders are occuring and the players end up investigating. You end up meeting this young woman called Vanessa along the journey who seems like a nice person in the middle of all this misery. The Defias Brotherhood still seems to be in full swing and you end up venturing into the Deadmines once again after learning about a shocking revelation about Vanessa. 4) You get to the giant ship inside the mines that was going to be used to destroy Stormwind. In there, you get a vision of the fight with Edwin Vancleef, and how he met his end. After we leave the ship with the headless corpse on the deck, you see something appear from the dark. A little girl called Vanessa VanCleef. She watched her own father get decapitated by Alliance players and swore revenge on Stormwind as a result. 5) The players do finally confront Vanessa in the Deadmines at a later point. As a tragic note to end on this depressing tale, Vanessa faces the same fate as her own father, on the very same deck he did years earlier. All of this misery carried out by us the players.

Just a bit correction here. In MGS3 the Patriots did not kill the Boss. It was the Philosophers, and more specifically the American branch that were known as the Wisemen's Committee. After her death, it was Major Zero who enlisted the help of Ocelot to regain back the remaining half of the Philosopher's Legacy so they could make the Boss' vision come to life. That organization is what later came to be known as the Patriots. They corrupt themselves and become the main antagonists for the remainder of the series.

In Dead Space 2, it's not drilling into his eye, it's sticking a needle through it to hit a certain part of his brain, in order to "activate it". Acupuncture basically. But through the eye. It could probably work without too much damage if not for that thing behind our pupil called a Lens. It's too solid to just stick a needle through and would cause permanent blindness if you could.

For those of us that are MGS3 and Family Guy fans, might be interested to know that Diane Simmons (the news anchor opposite Tom Tucker) is voiced by the same voice actress as The Boss, Lori Alan. When I finally pieced that together I could never see Diane Simmons the same way! Haha! Never occurred to me until one evening I was watching the episode "And Then There Were Fewer" in Season 9 where Diane has much more dialog than typical episodes. #0 - Undertale - Playing the Genocide Route/Killing 5 Boss Monsters (Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Asgore, Undyne). Ok, this is literally the saddest part of Undertale. Especially after playing a Pacifist Route. Killing all the friends you used to love. The saddest death, in my opinion, is Sans. "Welp, I'm going to Grillby's...Papyrus, do you want anything?" (Sans fades.). That last line, man. Sends chills down my spine.

Fallout 3 (Nuking Megaton): yup, done it to see what happens to the story, I've also aided in flooding Tenpenny Tower with feral ghouls on my heroic runs Roller Coaster Tycoon: Woulda done it if I had the game... after all half the fun in SimCity is causing numerous disasters LOL Life is Strange: Yup, would sacrifice the whole town for one person if I got the game Shoving people off tall buildings: Yup, Double Dragon Neon has a random harmless Williams you can ignore or push to his death. I shoved him with a power attack. Infamous 2's The Beast ending looks sweet
