I was stoked to see the slower grounded combat. That's exactly what I wanted. I love Eternal but I have gripes about it. And my largest by far is how blindingly fast and aerial the combat demands you to be. I thought it was asking too much of me. The game is just too fast. Every level mentally drained me and had to lay down afterwards cus it asks so much of me. I beat it multiple times but it's not really a game I like to replay because of how draining it is.

After buying the game in 2016, I never beat it. And after buying a pc for the first time, I bought the doom bundle on sale the other day and jumping back into it, I’m hooked. The game is so fun on mouse and keyboard rather than controller. Almost done with 2016 and gonna go straight to eternal right after, hopefully I can beat both plus dlc before dark ages.

Yes this is true because id or bathesha not sure who decided for this to be a raytracing only title so any gtx or rx 5000 and below wont work. Pros of forced rt: pretty visuals (especially here because game is designed with rt in mind and hopefully they dont screw up) Cons: say goodbye to 250fps like in doom eternal Cheapest way to play this is to get a 2060 super or 2070 as they are the same (something better would be nice) And an 8 core cpu because a lot more demons in a level in this game than previous games Or just play it on console

@ Maybe i will manage to upgrade my PC late this year, I made some calculations and it may be possible that I will need to buy a new GPU only, maybe CPU to, because i have 6-core Ryzen 5 3600x. I guess 16GB Ram will be enough though I may add another one. I will NOT buy a console for this, I play only with my PC monitor and not on TV, so I would have to unplug my PC from monitor and plug console every time because I have one HDMi socket in monitor only. But like you said: stupid decisions in Bethesda.

Not a fan of the mechs and dragons. The whole point of the slayers power was the lack of need for those things. His fists were all he needed, and the guns were only for fun. I feel about the Mechs and Dragons how people felt about platforming and acrobatics in Eternal. Don’t think I’ll put as many hours into this one if those things are too prominent :/

He killed a Titan with his bare hands, sure. But I think I'd prefer first person gameplay inside a mech than some Shadow of the Collosus type set piece, but that's just me. The Slayer doesn't use guns 'for fun'. They're more effecient. Same with the mechs and the Doomblade. I think he's too angry to have fun lol I respect your opinion, though. I don't like shallow gimmick gameplay either but I'm hoping these modes of play have gameplay _depth_ like Hugo claims.

@@krzysiekj2522 I don't really understand your complaints. You don’t have to bunny hop in Eternal-you can just run and gun if that’s your style. I agree the game is very colorful, but that’s intentional. The vibrant colors help make everything easier to see, even from across the room. Plus, you can adjust the color settings in the menu if it feels overwhelming. While the game does have a high skill ceiling, at the end of the day, you can play however you want. The only thing I’ll concede is that Eternal does require managing a lot of mechanics, like the ice bomb and flame belch which may not be everyone's cup of tea. For the gameplay alone, Eternal should be ranked above DOOM 3... to say its the worst is very controversial but to each their own.
