My streak was 3 days, from waking up to going to bed. I've had longer streaks back in the day, but these days, I'm just not as affected. Maybe we should be thanking them for all the brain training. It wasn't just Edge Magazine and Mirror's Edge. Langdell was squatting on the rights to the word "edge" for at least a decade and suing everything from video game companies to movie productions over the word. He's the reason the first game in the Soul Calibur series was called "Soul Blade" outside of Japan instead of Soul Edge. That was literally the only purpose of Edge Games' existence. He didn't turn out a single game with the company in over 20 years until he needed to shit out a completely non-functional turd of a game to cover his ass when someone pointed it out.

theduckmenace Well there's certainly good argument for copyright and trademark reform on a _wide_ scale to be less blatantly fellating the big media companies. But as copyright law stands, if he drew this image and the image in the game truly was close enough to be an infringement (and it could be proven that this was intentional), the law says he deserves some compensation. Even if that's just a late licensing of the image with a small "sorry we didn't do this before using the image" bonus. While copyright law as it stands is an abomination for free speech and the free spread of culture, all too often big companies (like clothing companies for example) are ripping off small artists and almost always getting away with it, either because it doesn't get noticed or because the artist can't afford to hire legal help. Often these are the same big companies that shriek the loudest about copyright infringement.
