It's irritating that I never had a teacher, in over 16 years of school, who was even close to being as proficient in breaking down a big concept into bite size pieces as you are. Awesome video!

This is the first time I've ever watched a video in a rush before going to game night to teach a game (which I'm horrible at). Many of the little things you explained stuck with me and were vital at moments when someone reached for the rulebook and COULD NOT find the answer they needed. You won me over with your Cloudspire videos (and cool to see you in their Discord!) and your skill at what you do continues to amaze. 👍

Great tutorial, but I have question for turn/action step. So, the active player choose an action and marked it with the "active player token". It is clear. But regarding the rulebook, the other players can choose this action or repeat the same action from their last turn. I mean, for instance, the first round the active player choose the 'planting' action. Everybody marked it with their own 5th leaf token. Then the next player choose the growth action. Everyone else can choose this growth action, or the planting because that was ther last action. Am I wrong? Thank you in advance!
@GamingRulesVideos Жыл бұрын
The other players MUST do the same action as chosen by the active player. What the rulebook is saying is that the active player has complete freedom in the action they choose - it could be the same action another player just did, or the same action they last did, etc. But every other player must follow the active player.

Fantastic Video, thanks! We tried the Game today, it was a pleasure to Play. It is very different and Just satisfying. Two minor Things you didnt mention: are the Event cards' effects for everyone or Just for the one who played them? And If I activate a card's ability and there are two actions on there (Like Take 2 growth and Mulch two cards') do I have to do both or May I Just Pick one ignoring the other?

I can't really tell you whether it is good or not as this was a commissioned video. However, I can give you the thoughts of the other people I played it with on a games day (3 games, 6 different other players) - they all loved it. But not everyone likes the same sort of games. For me, it is a good weight / depth / complexity / length of game, and it plays smooth.
