@@jamesmanny-w4j when you download a PS3 "ROM" you get a .iso file, that's a disc image file that you can mount on windows. Once mounted, you have to literally copy and paste the contents of the .iso somewhere else on your PC, then you drag and drop the contents you just copied on the emulator UI. That's what was done in this video.

Try booting the game by just selecting File option at the top left and select "Boot Game." Then select the folder that you extracted and that is what worked for me.

Apparently this is an error in the RPCS3 version, so I downloaded a older version, and it worked. I recomend downloading some version from 6 month ago, or even an older one.

@AjayBahia iso files if you right click it you should get an option to say "mount". If you do that it should make a folder that SHOULD say "PS3 Game" inside ir and THAT will work to drag and drop. If you have a game folder and there's a second folder inside of it, pull that second one OUT and then it should work. I could try to do a video on it but I'm still figuring out how it works myself.

I'm assuming you got the ISO file, right click it and there will be an option says open folder or something similar, it's been a while and don't remember. once you are in the iso folder you will see all files. just drag them to the new folder you created earlier. hope that helps =)

In my situation: download the game file (ISO) > Unzip > go into the unzipped folder you'll see the ISO game file > Right click it > Open With > Windows Explorer (which looks like a folder) > you will find all game files > move them to a new folder > drag them to the emulator or use the emulator to find the game up to you. let me know if this helps

Not sure if anyone here will be able to answer it. You may want to try asking about it where a lot of other Black Ops 2 players congregate, like in a Reddit or Discord. You may have to play a lesser version in order for it to run on emulator.

I know that in Killzone 2 there is a patch (in RPCS3) to skip the opening cut scene that plays every time you start the game. Check the patches section in RPCS3 to see if the same thing exists for your game.

You don't need to convert it. If you are on windows, you can mount the .iso, open it and then extract its contents in a folder that contains them, then drag and drop the folder into the RPCS3 IU (this is literally what was done in this video bruh...)

I have an issue with mgs4 where it skips every couple of seconds and when it does i see a disc with a question mark appear for a split second and disappears. I have it installed on a samsung 980 pro so it's not a speed issue on my end. I am also using a verified redump iso. Maybe it's just a recommended setting that is causing it. I've never heard of adding a console. RPCS3 is a PS3-only emulator. Once you have RPCS3 installed, you only need to add games to it.

I'm not sure if there's a way to get a Steam game to work on RPCS3. It only recognizes and plays PS3 files. I don't think the ones on Steam would be coded that way.
