There is no need to disable updates as official firmware for the PS3 will no longer be worked on. the browser comes down to personal preference, you only need to use it once.

@@ShaneColeman-e7cI’d still show it; Sony is scared of people jailbreaking their consoles, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to release an update just to make sure people don’t jailbreak their old ps3s

Did you save the bookmark on the 2nd page? then exit the internet explorer then relaunch it? then goto the book mark & reload it?

Have you got the super slim PS3? Its a pain, bigtime. It got me ages to do mine. And still not 100% if its been done properly. There are vids to jailbreak non CFW consoles, its just a bit more of a ball ache. Why these multinationals spend so much time, effort and money trying to arrest these actions is beyond me. Weve bought their hardware, making them more powerful and wealthy than is socially healthy and still they're not satisfied. They'll always be 1 step behind the spotty prepubescent genius who's hacking and modding their overpriced consoles, so just 'low it, ffs! sorry. rant over.

Mine was moded or jailbroken but it's been a while like 6 years using it,I turned it on and I use an external hdd(fat32) with games but are nolonger displayed.i updated the system software and multiman and renug tool are displaying error code 80010017.Any help is appreciated sir
