Kid Icarus never got the respect it deserved. It had a great music score, the gameplay changed as you upgraded your weapons, etc. and you had to battle your way through the underworld, overworld and skyworld with each world ending in a castle/palace where you had to learn how to navigate your way through to have a chance to beat the boss. Personally, I never understood how so many people get hung up on the water level, saving the dam in TMNT... I never had any problems with that, usually getting all the way through without getting zapped once... That being said, I never had the patience to actually get all the way through the entire game... But I always still went back to it...

@@SkywalkerDavis I know what you mean... I could usually get to the next level after the Turtle Van, but that was always about the time I got the urge to play another game...
@js359916 күн бұрын
@@SkywalkerDavis I just never had any problems with that level... I actually had more issues making those tiny little jumps with low clearance ceilings... One slightly mistimed jump meant falling down to the lower level and having to repeat everything, and all the enemies, on that floor over and over again until you got it right... That was where most of my patience went out the door... As for disarming the underwater bombs... It was just a matter of figuring out where they all were... Then it was just a matter of maneuvering around without getting zapped... Once you figure out where to go, and how to control your turtle, it was all actually quite simple from there... In fact, I would call it possibly the easiest level in the whole game... Once you figure it all out...
