That's what actually happened, Cid saw it was impossible to teach both Delta and Gamma his fighting style because one is a lovable idiot and the other lacks coordination, so, he gave them advice, to Delta was to fight using her instincts and to Gamma was to put a great quantity of mana in her blade and swing away. The anime changed and censored the guy's death, though. He still went to attack Gamma one last time, she trips, the sword hits him while spinning and he is cut (vertically) in half.

Kai was a master tier spearwoman for the Cult, Omega was one of Velgata's best instructors. Both of them know Gamma is impossible to teach and her general vicinity is hazard zone in combat. So while Alpha did give them an order she would follow herself, its clear their faces are saying "But why us ?". Fortunately, Gamma is too adorable to fail.

Weapon: Rapier. Strategy: Dark Souls style: R1 rapier spam. Mana capacity: Limit Break. Additional class features: advantage on all Int and Wis skill rolls, disadvantage in all Dex rolls, default AC scales based on Int, cannot take weapon proficiencies or levels in any martial class. A small correction though, both Gamma's Con and Str are overcharged. She doesn't take any serious damage in this fight or when she constantly falls. Before the timeskip, when her sword was stuck in a marble column, she just lifted the entire thing and used it as a bat. Gamma is on the same level as Delta, they can't learn any technique or mana control. Delta can't moderate her power and Gamma is clumsy, but both have ridiculous base stats. Its just that Delta specialized in combat and Gamma in out of combat skills.

In the Web Novel, Cid wants to destroy Mitsugoshi because they are profitting from his ideas and he wants a cut after rebuilding it. In the Light Novel he's more noble as he legitimately thinks Mitsugoshi can't survive a Corporate War against the other big corporations that are together against them, they "drew too much attention" so, he destroys it, rebuilds it under a new name and passes the control to Alpha so the girls can "live the dream", or do that's the plan, he doesn't know he owns the company.

Ok, they changed it, by censoring it and hitting the guy as he escaped, he actually went for a jumping attack aiming for Gamma's neck, she trips and the sword hits the guy while spinning but instead of exploding, he is cut in half by the sword, knowing that hit was a fluke but not wanting to look bad in front of her subordinates, she names it Desperation Discus, pretending it is a special move. Cid explains way earlier that she couldn't teach his fighting style to both Delta and Gamma, Delta for being a lovable airhead and Gamma for having poor coordination (she's a klutz) so he gave some advice to both, Delta to just go all out and follow her instincts, which makes her the most brutal fighter in Shadow Garden and physically the strongest of the Shades and to Gamma to just focus the most mana she can in her blade and attack.

Fun fact: In the light novel it's stated that, while Cid is a strong believer in the importance of technique and stuff for fights, finding people who just use brute strength to overpower their opponents utterly barbaric, Gamma had SOOOOO little battle instinct the training she received from Shadow boiled down to "Idk, just infuse your attacks with lots of magic and pummel the shit out of your opponents". Delta is so stupid she got the same lesson, so in short, these girls broke Shadow's beliefs because of their incapability to do certain stuff

for those who think that gamma is weak! i remember reading in the LN. that she is in fact one of the most powerful raw powerwise (like raw stats) "average" stats wise if we are to look at them with a "RPG perspective", losing only in one or two aspect to others 7 shades, like for example delta have stronger raw strength or Eta have a higher intelligence/wisdom than gamma but on the "sum up" of all of them gamma is on the TOP, her only problem is that she cannot be taught fighting skills (terrible in learning them) and lack coordination.(that also makes her a "problematic" fighter). Bringing the context back to the series, the most important "status" that exists is magic, pretty much in reality only "magic" is what "exists" as "supernatural ability" in the world and even the powerful body abilities, we see them using, is derived by using "magic" to strengthen the body with special techniques-skills, not that all other "status" does not matter but magic is the biggest. What make the "shadow garden" powerful in a sense, is their "knowledge" of using magic, Sid developed very powerful method that is compared/stronger than even some ultimate magical beings, like dragons. So Even if you have "relatively" speaking low magic powers and "status", as long you learn and use his method , you are a powerful fighter in the world! Gamma is on the other hand of the spectrum, her status are so HIGH, that even not learning sh*t correctly and have 0 real fighting SKILLS, she is still very "powerful" just because of her "raw stats" is very HIGH and she can even do things that would otherwise be impossible to be done given her lack of fighting "skills"/"abilities" that is for example the "aura blade" shows there on the clip, she is "making" that with her "raw" power, that is also why it is show like that a "caricature" style thing, is to reflect that. this scene even reflects this, the enemy gave 2 headshot and she barely feels it, is more on a comedic side, like she was not even using the entire slime suit that gives extra protection, or even "willingly" used magic to reinforce her body (because again, she cannot be taught and is very bad at those things(fighting)) and still did not even flinch being hit in the head by the enemy, that given the context in question, is not a "pleb" that you can find in the streets, is just that she is so powerful that made him look like a "pleb", he is fact very powerful assassin. She is of course, not able to fight the real 0,1% of the world directly because at that level, "fighting technique" plays a important part in a fight and her "advantage" of having "raw power" decreases the higher the level of the enemies she is facing , since they would also have powerful magic power but well, even having said that, she is still up there really, not everyone can "handle" her raw "power". there's even scenes in the novel, where this was shown pretty clear to all to see just like the episode above, where she suffers "hits" that would pretty much kill or severely wound 99,99% of the cast and this includes most of shadow garden and yet she barely feels anything, it was "hits" to the head, neck, heart, name a "fatal" place and she had been "hit" there already and did not even have a effect, when she fights enemies in the future as well, everyone is "afraid" of how "crazy" powerful EVERY single strike she make is, like if they fail to dodge even ONE they would be done. Basically Sid told her when he failed to teach her, that she just need to swing the sword and blow everything up in front of her and this is exactly what she does, everyone else "Ultimate attack" is like "basic attack" for her.
