For those that don't know, dieseling is a good way to tear up your airguns because of overpressure. It will blow your seals eventually and produces greater chamber pressures thatn air guns are designed for. It does produce higher speeds and greater penetration but you will be replacing seals and rebuilding your guns if you keep doing it. And it only takes a micro drop of oil or a dab of vaseline on the back of the pellet. You xan increase the fps by 200 to 400p fps by dieseling but, it's not really worth it unless you don't care about your gun.

I did notice that the statement on the vest said it complied with NIJ requirements for level 3A. Compliant vests are tested by third party companies for the vest producer. This is pretty typical for entry level commercial vests. They will generally stop the rounds they are specifically tested for but they tend to be bulky. Long story short, your mileage may vary LE / military grade soft armors are tested and Certified by the NIJ itself and it’s expensive and time consuming for the manufacturer but usually NIJ Certified armors are lighter thinner and more flexible and more expensive ordinary commercially available armors

Brilliant video! Very impressive. The hard steel head of the Fast Flight round enabled it to avoid deformities and maintain its pointed spitzer shape on impact, acting like a 'pile driver' for max penetration. This is a lethal round up close and at short ranges for sure, I am highly suprised with these results. But at medium distance these rounds loose their accuracy and stability. Try super gluing a 5.1gr 177 BB (normal steel bb for a bb gun) to the head of a H&N Crow Magnum 18.12gr hollow point 22cal pellet. HUGE DAMAGE! Not only do they pierce steel computer cases but will crush bone. Shot a beef leg bone at 7 yards and it shattered a large section of the bone. Original purpose was removing raccoons in town and they do a fantastic job with head or heart shots. The heavy pellets also won't break the speed of sound so they are extremely quiet. Cheers, God bless, happy father's day!

Also bulletproof vests are not rated for steel projectiles most Arrow heads and crossbow bolt heads can go through them or in them out the other side may not penetrate the person wearing it very deep or at all but it does not stop stuff like that so that's cool to know I mean they're rated for certain firearms and ammunition
@assassinmanx6128 Жыл бұрын
@@jeremyprunty6194I’m still confused. So a pellet gun is more dangerous than a .44? I mean I know bullets aren’t piercing unless armor piercing. But yea that’s new by my. I don’t feel safe with a vest now lol.
@ATruckCampbell Жыл бұрын
@@assassinmanx6128 When it comes to piercing armor with guns, you need speed and a small, usually FMJ projectile, that is why small rounds like 5.56 are so effective. When it comes to kevlar, it is tightly woven super strong fibers, like a tough blanket. It is good at stopping larger and slower round nosed bullets like most pistol rounds, but smaller and faster moving pointed bullets will zip right through it. Think of dropping a ball onto a blanket vs pushing a knife or needle through it. So for these extremely small and hard pointed pellets that are also going 200+ FPS faster than they should be, they are able to push through the kevlar like a needle. Now how much damage those pellets would do to the person wearing the kevlar after it gets through isn't clear, but I reckon it would still pierce the skin and still be a serious injury, depending on range. While general soft point .44 magnum out of pistol length barrels may not penetrate kevlar, the sheer force transfer will still injure you, likely severely. So unless you are under attack by a dude with a high power dieseled pellet gun with specific ammo, or someone with a .44, both of which are wildly unlikely, you are fine.
