I was really thrilled about the straight up, no frills approach to this video and about to give only praise for that but admittedly I was pretty bummed when we didn’t get to see a grouping or any of the shots down range. :(

I understand my friend. I'm not a great cameraman, but I can try to work on a video of that for you. Thanks for watching and reaching out! We appreciate it more than you know.

@@gerardoalejandroortizvelaz4222 Hey there Gerardo! Thanks for helping me out on the Spanish my friend! So I use my Gamo Swarm Hornet .22 caliber for small game such as rabbits, squirrels, and resting birds (sitting still). I'm not sure whether you have the .177 caliber or the .22. There is really not a lot of difference between them, but the .177 clocks in at about 1250 fps. The .22 is generally about 1000. So the .177 is a faster pellet, but the .22 is larger and hits with more force. I have more one shot kills with the .22. The 10 round magazine is a game changer in pellet guns which is perfect for small game. I'm not sure what small game you will be gunning for there in Mexico, but this rifle will be good for all of your small game. A word on accuracy. I shoot the .22 often. I have sighted in the scope that came with it 100 times, and it is just not great. You may look at a different scope or sit down with your rifle, find where it hits and adjust your aim accordingly. I have to aim just high and right as mine seems to hit low and left. Well that's my 2 cents worth on the Gamo Brother. Thanks for watching and commenting man!

Can you disregard the magazine and convert it to a “single shot”?

You know my firearms I am leary of doing any kind of target practice. Big guns if you can call an AR15 a big gun cost a lot to shoot at targets. But regardless of firearm or airgun it takes shot control and breath control to hit a dime at 25 yards. With my Swarm Hornet in .22 it cost me 11 dollars for 500 shots. With my AR1522 those 500 shots would cost me 70 dollars. With my AR15 200 plus dollars. That is if I can buy boom ammo even. Shooting a gun is like anything else... it takes practice or you will jerk the trigger or forget to breathe everytime. For suburbanites in subdivisions a target set up in front of sandbags will stop a .22 cal air round. I thought .22 LR was a cheap option but damn. 11 dollars for a pound of pellets. 1/10th the cost of CCI mini mags and accuracy takes the same basic principles of shooting. Breathing and shot grouping. But honestly .22 LR ammo sux now and grouping is debatable. Ammo pertaining to firearms sux in general and three shot groups within a dime is virtually impossible now. But... with my cheap little .22 Gamo at 25 yards I am constant with 3 shot groups that touch one another. I am happy with mine. The best 140 dollars I ever spent. But I will be putting a better scope on it. Maybe?
