We are how we envision the world after all, what we see creates our reality. People who are depressed by thinking depressive thoughts, etc. Just how it is, sadly the media likes to project such (likely via advertisers like BigPharma) which is why the world is in a bad state now overall. As humans we have UNLIMITED potential, we are sentient and strong, crafty and creative, and overall the greatest creation we know of yet we relegate ourselves to mediocrity because we adhere to our rulers or our man-made laws that are by no means cogent. Sadly, such is the case and logic no longer founds our perception on reality, what encapsulates us does though. I have faith that one day we as a species may break free of the ties that bind us, the shackles that constrict us and we can truly reach our potential as sentient beings. Our reliance on technology and the perversion known as modern science must end if such will ever hope to come to pass. Humanity has been around for a long time, far longer than recorded history is willing to admit and despite the multiple downfalls of humanity we persevere. We build up, reach our potential, lose it, and then collapse. We must break free of this cycle if we wish to ever grow as a species. As it is we are trapped in a perpetual loop of madness that even the sanest of us humans is tainted by.

Tbf that's not how capoeira hits work, it's not the constant chip damage of breaker, it's mind games and dodges before striking with the entire weight of your body. While there are aesthetic similarities (not to mention breakdancing was derived from capoeira Senzala de Santos, not the other way around) there are a lot of differences. That's not even getting into how wildly different Angola, Regional, and Contemporânea styles are

@@Christopher-eq1rn I don't know man. People have said the same about bushido and we all know what there nickname is. Bull****do. For obvious reasons. Plus people have been dancing in bazzare and random ways since the Azteca and vikings. I dont think one culture can really claim to of invented that. And plus it wasn't until the 70s that actual breakdamcing as we know was claimed to of been invented by dj cool herc in New York. Which makes actual breakdancing American man. I dont want to take anything away from them but I'm not handing them undeserved credit either or saying dancing might be effective in a fight. @@superdoran6396 a lot of that comes down to people conflating regional as the entirety of capoeira, despite the fact that regional largely abandoned the martial aspect of it. In regards to modernizing, that's precisely what contemporanea is. The dancing aspect is mostly just part of the whole deception part of capoeira, since it started as a way for Angolan slaves to trick their masters into not knowing they were practicing martial arts, since it was punishable by death, and was used to liberate themselves In regards to bushido, it's not surprising the weebs are blowing smoke, since bushido isn't even a martial art, it's a code of ethics like chivalry lol

Pro tip from someone who is not a pro. You should bring 2 people from different professions to the same video. If you bring them from the same profession, they'll already know what they're talking about and don't feel the need to explain, and just crack jokes. However, if you bring in 2 different people from different professions, they will try to explain to each other things that they understand. For example, if you play Skate 3 or Tony Hawk Pro Skater, and you bring in 2 skaters, they'll talk in Skater terms to each other, like "Oh, he just did a Frontside Pop Shove-it like that, you know how it is" but if you bring in a Skater and a Doctor, the skater will actually explain what that trick is since they'll know that the Doctor probably doesn't know what it is, and thus explaining it to the audience, plus, the doctor also adds medical terms that they explain, making you learn 2 things and how they work together.

Glad to see Majima covered! Would love to Gemma, Yoshi and Noah try to recreate/put their own spin on both Kiryu and Majima's styles in a collab and maybe some of the cuscenes as well that feature more Yakuza fight craziness 🤣

I feel like they would also have a fun time reacting to the fights from Judgement. They're just as ridiculous and fun.

I love these Yakuza reactions! I’d wanna see both of them react to the heat actions in Yakuza 6/Kiwami 2. The extreme heat mode actions are absolute brutal.

I'm shocked they didn't know about Capoeira. That's what majima's Breaker Style is based off of.

Love that you guys are showing them Yakuza characters. You gotta show them Akiyama-San next. Gemma would like him especially since he uses kicks the most Keep up the awesome work Gameology!

I would love to see the martial arts experts react to yakuza 4’s combat with all 4 characters & yakuza 5’s combat with the 4 characters excluding haruka & yakuza 6’s combat

something i love about yakuza enemies. they see this guy, completely out of his goddamed mind spinning around like a fucking human turbine with no intention to stop. and they walk straight into him

Call me a simp, but Gemma's looks strike somewhat different today. Her hair, outfit, everything is... just too good. Yoshi looks really neat, too.

1:08 You say that, but let’s be real, if I saw a guy with a knife flailing and leaping about a 3m radius like that, I wouldn’t wanna go fucking NEAR that guy.

Could we have the martial artists react to the combat of the Mad Max video game? That game has some of the most visceral, intense, and satisfying combat moves I have seen in a video game. It's just outright brutal, especially with the finishing moves and when Max has fury mode activated. Criminally underrated game and overwhelmingly satisfying to play the hand to hand, and vehicular combat in it.

They’re finally reviewing Majima It’s been a while since the Kiryu video, I was hoping to see something like this.

5:30 In real life there is a martial arts that use that style of fighting its Caopeira. in Kengan omega, there was a perso who used that , and it was capoeira.
