Can I just take the GAMSAT and not the UCAT if applying to GAMSAT universities? Or do they prefer you to have both?

Hi I'm going to be studying paramedic science in just under two years (year 12 equivalent) and I may do post grad med if I find being a paramedic isn't for me. would it be worth studying the gamsat over the course of 5 years to accumulate a large amount of hours and get an extremely high centile score?
