Thank you so much Dr. Allon for giving us your time and giving such an insightful lecture! The lecture made me think deeply about the themes raised, especially when we are looking at repatriation, capacity building amongst local stakeholders, and the use of digital tools in archaeology and conservation. Everyone at Speaking Archaeologically thoroughly enjoyed the talk and we really look forward to hosting you again in the future!

Thank you Dr. Allon for the insightful talk. The conservation of the manuscripts and the video showcasing the process of how to handle such antiquities gave an insight into the techniques and patience that goes into preserving one's heritage. The digital repatriation strategy discussed was something I found very intriguing. This is because it allows access to artifacts, making it accessible to a wider audience to engage with their history and heritage, even if physical repatriation isn’t possible.

Thank you for such a detailed lecture, sir, and Speaking Archaeologically. It is fascinating to learn how fragile pieces of information, lost for centuries, are retrieved, conserved, and deciphered, along with the efforts of the concerned organizations to make this data available to stakeholders. I look forward to learning more about this.

The lecture was very interesting. A question come to my mind - do we find any difference in the rules of the sangha, or in fables concerning the Buddha when we compare the Gandhari canon with the Pali canon? Since the geographic spread of these languages is different, and the speakers of this language follow different customs and cultural practices, do we find any variation on canonical texts in different languages? In Hinduism, we have example of the Ramayana being tweaked in various regions according to the local customs and beliefs of that region, so I wonder if the same can be found in Buddhist texts as well.
