Khilafat movement was the first incident of appeasement in modern Indian history. Gandhi was so obsessed for approval of Muslim elite that he later ignored these facts. (From: Gandhi: The Years That Changed the World by Ram Guha) → This is what he said in his speech on 19 September, 1921 at Trichinopoly, then Madras now Tamil Nadu: "My heart bleeds to think that our Moplah brethren have gone mad. I am grieved to find that they have killed officers. I am grieved to think that they have looted Hindu houses leaving many hundreds of men and women homeless and foodless. I am grieved to think that they have endeavoured forcibly to convert Hindus to Islam and by all these acts they have done an injury." This succeeded in bringing almost all sections of Indians under one flag for a Pan-Indian movement for the first time. But there was COLLATERAL DAMAGE or price have to be paid. eg Moplah riots. Thanks for clarification..Gandhi did. not call upon Muslims to shun violence..Rather he was pro Muslims..to his very end..Killing of lakhs of Sikhs and Hindus during Partition days did not move Gandhi..This was a deep wound in the psychic state of mind of refugees from Pakistan..Ambdakr was a man of sharp intelligence and knew the lack of statesmanship of Gandhi.

What Gandhi did was absolutely disgusting, yet he is still considered a good, peace loving man. This genocide never should have happened. He literally brainwashed the Hindus in submitting to the Muslims and laid their lives for him and the Muslims. He didn’t sacrifice his own life in the hands of the Muslims. I am so glad that the truth is coming out now, thanks to people like yourselves. The whole truth on the history must be rewritten by the Hindus and taught at schools. B.R. I would say Muslims in those times had more self-respect than Hindus. The wily old Gandhi kept appeasing them and that's precisely why they didn't respect him. Gandhi had no iron will. Just a massive inferiority complex. He couldn't tolerate people smarter than him. There was only one leader who could have united both Hindus and Muslims and that was Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He didn't discriminate and treated them equally in the INA. Of course, Gandhi and Congress couldn't stand him. Congress is a lie! It was just a group of people interested in forming a government.

Where in Sanatana Dharma is it mentioned that the dharma recognizes birth based caste? before criticizing anything, atleast read and understand it. It only had a working class (Warga)-based distinction based only on one's deeds (karma) and one's qualities (guna). so-called caste system as we know today has manifested after thousands of years and no wonder it gradually took an ugly shape in the post-invasion and post-colonization period, only to support the caste politics. It's completely distorted from the original form. Try to seek the truth, which is the fundamental teaching of the Sanatana Dharma.
