This song is so close and important to me. When I found this song, I was falling again. I didn't want to die but I wasn't happy living. This song reminded me of the importance of life. As someone else in the comments said, it saves me everyday.

Was feeling overwhelmed this morning, asked GOD for motivation. Needed music. When I turned on you tube, this was the first song I saw. Thankyou GOD.

i will never stop loving this song. if you are feeling tired, if you are feeling worn down by life, if you are feeling left out or alienated, if you need a boost of energy for your soul and your body take a listen. shake your limbs to the drum beat, bob your head and kick your legs around in a circle. by the time the song reaches the climax you will NEED to keep doing a little dance. sing along, feel the words and what they mean while they leave your mouth. SAY YES TO LIFE

Just coming back to this now, just realising that Dave’s intro mentioning staring down the barrel of losing somebody - likely the beginning of the inspiration for the lasted record? Could be looking into it too much but could also be a nice detail considering the theme and tone of the latest album

I heard that Bohemian Rhapsody guitar lick at 4:54, they arent slick ;)
@ownageyeahful6 жыл бұрын
they did it on purpose gang, bands do this a lot, they don't do it to be slick, they do it cause the crowd all knows it and will recognise it as a little easter egg ;)

Yep. As a guitarist I can tell you it's a 'tribute like', and crowds love it, as does the band.

Does anyone know who the person was he was nearly losing? I'm assuming the same person they had to cancel their tour dates for...? Let's hope it isn't another issue on top of what he's copping. We're thinking of you Dave
@njcBlackeyed6 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing his ex-wife, their entire first album was about her (she got cancer, he stayed around and then she cheated on him or something)

His father was admitted to hospital, he did a small speech at the start of the set. The 'give your parents a call' made everyone tear up!
@rarecoast90006 жыл бұрын
I’m thinking his dad. I might be off base in saying this, but I think I recall him saying something about his dad being in ill health at a Sydney show last year. Also he mentioned giving your parents a call in this.

Even if they are, atleast they don’t seem to massively push an agenda. I’m absolutely atheist but this band makes some seriously good music.
