Still best Ganondorf to date, unapologetically evil, but still capable of introspection and articulating exactly why he wants to conquer Hyrule.

@@clonetrooper2003 to be fair, WW Ganondorf had centuries for contemplation inside the Sacred Realm, awake and aware, mind you. TotK Ganondorf was stuck in that same pose for millennia, and was unconscious the whole time, practically marinating in his own gloom and aging like wine in a forgotten cellar.

Honestly, this is the Ganondorf I ever truly felt sorry for. The Hylian government failed his own people by allowing them to die in the desert. I can see where he's coming from, but it doesn't excuse his evil actions. It truly is a sad story of how one man turned evil.

Ganondorf has never given one single shit about the Gerudo, and even Ocarina of Time makes that very clear. The Gerudo were free to come and go as they pleased in that game, to boot, prior to Ganon's takeover. You know what Ganondorf did for his people when he overthrew Hyrule in OoT? He razed Hyrule's rich capital and made it uninhabitable. He set loose monsters and ghosts all over the world. He holed himself up in a castle made for only himself. The Gerudo, on the other hand, were left to stick to the desert and bow to his whims else they get brainwashed by Koume and Kotake, his powerful zealous handlers.

@@Seiyol Never? I would point out TOTK, when he led an invasion of Hyrule with his own people, the Gerudo. He did, at one point care about his own people. But, his evil ambitions and lust for power overrode his feelings for his own people.
@Seiyol8 ай бұрын
@@aaronharris5069 What? TotK does not indicate in any way that he was doing that for anything but power, like he always does. He used the Gerudo in that way since he had power of them as their king. Rauru, in TotK, specifically did not retaliate against the Gerudo and even let Ganondorf go about his deceitful truce despite knowing he was full of it. It should also be noted that TotK specifically mentions Ganondorf crushing Gerudo dissent.
@aaronharris50698 ай бұрын
@@Seiyol That was before Ganondorf turned on the Gerudo. They only broke ranks with him, when he had no need for them. He hid his intentions with the Gerudo very well. He was playing chess against his own people. Rauru may have known that Ganondorf was scheming something, but murdering Sonia, his wife, was something he didn't foresee. This Ganondorf has no empathy for anyone and will kill anyone or anything in his way to rule.

@@Nomadnetic Weird, haven't copy and pasted anything. Just offered my personal criticism so that maybe they can put just a little more effort in and make it something special. Like, maybe mentioning that it sounds synthetic might, I dunno.. inspire an investment in better equipment to make better music. I agree my comment was pointed and could have been more fleshed out, but I want to see people succeed. I'm also a musician, and I have no claim to being better here. That's completely irrelevant; it's not about whether I can do better, that's a non argument. It's about giving some input. If the mixing is muddy, why would I say otherwise? If the synthetic instruments sound a bit cheap, why would I say otherwise? If I feel the arrangement was maybe a little lazy and uninspired, why would I say different? My poor initial wording aside, I would like there to be more quality music in the world to listen to, and just saying "this is awesome" or whatever won't accomplish that.
