Just bought it, I'll update this comment after using it. I just hope it can last 3-4 year Day 1 - This is the first time I've used a screen tablet and in a one word I would say this is amazing, screen felt blurry but increasing the sharpness fixed that. I'll have to fiddle around more with screen calibration because in certain parts cursor and pen mismatch a little bit.

It looks as if pen display manufacturers that are still catching up to Wacom have made considerable progress in pen technology lately. Small differences still exist - among the Wacom alternatives, Huion seems the leader of the pack in this particular discipline.
@MightGuy152 ай бұрын
The problem was wacom had a patent on the technology that made their pens super good but it expired I personally think XP pen is the best they were the first company to release a stylus that had over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity which is a feat Wacom even has yet to accomplish
@pixelpusher13932 ай бұрын
@@MightGuy15 Interesting - do you have a source re. the expired patent? I was wondering already if Huion, XPPen etc. had their own proprietary pen protocol, or to what extent they can, and are using Wacom pen tech. But honestly, I doubt I would even notice a difference between 2048 and 4096 pressure levels, let alone 8000 or 16000. And if watch Teoh´s comparison between the Huion Kamvas Pro 19 and The XPPen Artist Pro 19 (2nd gen), the Huion seems to have a slight advantage in terms of line wobble. The emphasis is on "slight" though.

Good day Teoh! Just wanna ask if you're ever going to do a review on the Honor Pad 9 which released about 6 months ago? I would really love to hear your opinions as an artist regarding the unit. Thanks in advance! :)

Im confused now whether to buy GAOMON PD1561 or Xp-Pen Artist 12 Pro 12 Inch, i am leaning towards the PD1561 coz of the larger screen, any suggestions?
@teohontech71412 ай бұрын
Difficult choice. Generally speaking, I recommend getting something that is at least 13 inches or larger

Hey Teoh something to ask is this the same Gaomon PD1561 that has existed for quite a lot of time but you just reviewed it late cuz I am getting a bit confused cuz of the naming that they use. Can you answer whether this is the same one or not that has existed for 2 or 3 years

1080 not so great. Come on Huion..! release a 18-19" portable tablet with touch and 120hz using only 1 cable! I'd be buying immediately.

It is not possible to get good visual quality from a 18-inch 4K display from ONE single USBC cable. Brightness will be limited, or the display won’t power on.
